Family Reunion (completed)

Beach

I want to dedicate this chapter to @ flamingdemigods (it's an Instagram account) since she gave me this wonderful idea for them going to the beach so thank you

Annabeth's pov:
After everyone had breakfast we all headed back to our rooms to get ready to go to the beach. Percy was practically bouncing off the walls excited to go and I was still looking for my swimsuit. "Percy calm down." I tell him laughing.

"But I'm so excited!" He yells from the other side of the room. I roll my eyes and grab my swimsuit from my bag and walk into the bathroom and shut the door. I quickly put it on. It's a two peice but it covers most of my stomach. I don't wear bikinis because I don't like how much it shows.

I pull my dress over my head that you're supposed to wear over the swimsuit and put my hair up into a messy bun like yesterday.

I look in the mirror and sigh. I guess this is good as it will get and walk back out. "Ready?" I ask him. He nods. I grab my bag that has our beach stuff and take his hand walking out the door.

"Let me carry the bag." He says. I hand it to him not even arguing since I know he'll just take it anyway. When we get upstairs everyone is wearing their suits and walking outside. We walk outside with them.

"Two people are going to have to take a taxi because there's not enough room!" I hear my dad yell.

"We will!" I yell back. He nods his head okay. "Perce call a taxi." I tell him. He does and a few minutes later one pulls up. I get in first on the left side. When he gets in I lean my head on his shoulder and close my eyes.

I must of fallen asleep because Percy's shaking me awake. "Beth we're here." He whispers. I yawn and get out along with him.

We walk towards my family and drop our bags and head to the water but before I can start walking I feel strong arms wrap around me and lift me up and toss me on their back.

"Percy put me down!" I scream in his ear laughing.

"Nope!" He yells back. He starts running towards the water.

"Don't you dare drop me in the water!" I scream but he does it anyway. I fall in and I'm drenched with water. I give him a glare and start walking towards him. He starts running away. Good choice I think but I've always been faster than him.

When I reach him I jump on his back and tackle him to the ground and hold his arms and legs down with mine so he can't move. "Got you." I whisper. Our faces are almost touching and I decide I don't like that. I lean down and kiss him while releasing his arms and legs.

He cradles my cheek with one hand and holds me close with the other. We probably would have stayed like that all day but then I realized that everyone on the beach by us was watching including my family.

I pull away blushing and then pull Percy up. He's just smiling. "Let's just go swimming now okay?" I ask.

"Okay." He answers but after he kisses me on the cheek quickly. I blush once again. When we get in the water we just swim around and talk. A little while later my family left but we stayed behind. The sun was going down and we we're watching it from in the water. "

"It looks beautiful." I whisper. Percy's standing behind me with his arms around my waist and his chin on my shoulder and we're up to my shoulders in water.

I snuggle my head up against his chest and he kisses my forehead but before he takes his lips away he whispers. "Not as beautiful as you." Against my forehead. I just smile.

"You know Seaweed Brain that summer is almost ending which means we're leaving camp soon." I remind him.

"Ya we are what's the problem?" He asks.

"Well since we're you know adults now we should probably look into finding an apartment." I whisper hoping he won't say no.

"That's probably a good idea." He tells me. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"So you don't mind moving in together?" I ask him.

"No. Why would I?" He questions me.

"I just didn't know for sure if you were okay with that." I whisper.

"I'm never leaving you Wise Girl. I mean we are engaged so I was kinda expecting that to happen." He laughs.

"I was just making sure." I laugh with him. "I love you." I tell him.

"I love you too Beth." He says kissing my forehead for the hundredth time today.
