Maka dragged me down the hall and I stopped at a classroom door.
"Maka, I can't go in there. I'm not properly dressed." I said looking at her. She pouted and I sighed. With a snap of my fingers I was in a blue dress that went to my ankles.
"Good?" I asked
"Great." she said and pushed me in.
I stumbled a bit looking at the teacher.
"Am I late?" I asked with a hand on my hip.
It was Sid who was teaching the class.
"Grace?" He asked like he couldn't believe I was actually there.
I nodded looking at the clock.
Then the bell rang telling everyone it was time for lunch.
The children flooded out of the classroom except for Black Star , Tsubaki,Kid, Liz,and Patty. Maka and Soul came in as well to join the class.
"Did you miss me?" I asked.
They stared at me like I was a ghost. "They thought you were dead." Said Sid.
I gave them a questionable look. "Who told you that?" I asked wanting to know who scared the kids.
"Dr. Stein," mumbled Soul .
"Well he's gonna get a piece of my mind tomorrow!" I said angrily. I tapped
''So Patty Liz, has Kid been bothering you about symmetry?"I asked.
They looked confused.
"Who are you?" They asked.
"Grace Asura." I replied with a smile.
I clapped my hands.
"Why don't we go eat lunch?"
"Grace, see if you can outrun the almighty Black Star!" He said running.
"No fair I'm wearing a dress!" I shouted running after him.
Back with the others.
"Kid who was that?" Asked Liz.
"My caretaker, as well as Black Star's." Replied Kid.
"Ms. Grace is really amazing.
She was greater than my mother at battle .'' chimed Maka as they walked towards the cafeteria.
"Wow." Said Liz.
"She's a stalker." Giggled Patti.
"No she's not, she's just.... observant," Finished Kid
They finally saw Grace sitting at a table filing her nails while black star panting like a madman.
"You cheated!" Accused Black Star.
"You can't prove that." Taunted Grace.
They went back and forth for a while.
"Kid , Maka come and sit by me!" She said happily patting the seats next to her.
"Hai." Said both Maka and Kid sitting on either side of her.
She hugged them both.
"It was so boring without you." Black Star whined.
"I can't believe it's only been four years." Chimed Maka.
"Hey how's your friend Crona? I don't think he likes me too much." Questioned Grace.
"He's doing fine, maybe we can go see him after lunch?" Asked Maka.
"Sure," most shrugged or said yes.
They all ate and chatted while Grace did Liz's nail's.
Grace's pov
I was walking alone towards the infirmary because the kids had remedial lessons.
I walked in and saw Stein and Crona.
"Is he doing alright?" I asked leaning against the door.
"Fine, should be better-" he didn't finish until he turned around.
"Grace?" He asked.
"Stein." I replied walked over to Crona. He was an amazing kid with a crappy life.
I put my hand on his cheek and his eyelids twitched.
I decided to leave him alone since he seemed tired.
"Did you tell them I was dead?" I asked upset.
"Yes, I had a hard time believing it myself." Be replied.
"You don't remember who took care of you when you went crazy do you?" I questioned calmly.
He sighed '' It was you."
I nodded '' Because I know you've been taking good care of everyone. " I stated looking down at Crona.
His eyes opened and he looked around only to see my face.
"W-w-who a-a-a-re y-y-you?" He asked shakily.
I smiled "A person, Crona." I replied. His eyes widened.
"You saved me and Maka?''he asked.
''Of course, I couldn't let a child get hurt." I replied.
Stein left a while ago and I sat and talked with Crona.
