Riiiinnngggggg! The bell screamed. Everyone got up and put their bag over their shoulder, then lumbered over to the door to exit the room. It was the end of a boring usual day, and I was excited to relax during a nice weekend.

I had some homework, but I could totally finish it before this evening.

Jason had invited all of us to head over to his house for a party tonight, and I was looking forward to it. Who wouldn't? I squealed silently and kept on trekking forward, towards the bus.

Then someone bumped into me.

The next thing I knew, I was on the ground. A girl with wavy blonde hair and light blue eyes brighter than the sky on a clear winter day. Heightened by nerdy like glasses, which were, not to mention crooked because she fell, sat on the floor, starting to cry.

"Are you okay?" I asked, starting to pick up the textbooks on the ground.

She sobbed. "I've had bad enough of a day." She then took the textbooks from my hands and ran off, still crying. She was heading for my bus. I started to follow but someone poked my shoulder.

"Hey, Ilta, want to ride in my car?"

I turned to see Jason.

"Uh- no thanks." I replied. He looked hurt for a moment, but then looked at the girl who was crying and nodded in understanding. He shoved me playfully towards my bus and then ran off towards his car.

I grinned and went towards my bus. The nerd girl was sitting alone, sniffing and holding a package of Kleenex. I sat down beside her. She stopped sniffing and turned her red puffy eyes to me.

"Agghh!" She shrieked. She pulled out a bunch of tissues and covered her face with them, trying to hide her red face.

"No, it's okay." I chuckled.

She peered over the tissues and I could see that she was smiling. "H-hi..." She greeted me.

"Hello, my name is Ilta, what's your name?" I asked.

She pulled the Kleenex of her face. "Ch-Charlotte."

"Are you new, I've never seen you before."

"N-no. I've always been in this school..." She answered, slightly blushing.

I gasped. If she had been in this school all this time... Oh no... "Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were-"

"No, it's okay, nobody really notices me until I introduce myself..."

"To make up everything, would you be interested in coming to hang out with me tonight? My friend hosted a party." I told her.

She pushed her glasses up. "I'm- I'm not very good in being social or going to parties... I'm sorry, but I'll have to decline your offer."

"Oh, come on, you can come to my house and we can makeover you and prep you up for it. I promise, the party will be fine."

Charlotte grinned. "In that case, why not? I don't have any friends to hang out with or anything..."

"Yeah, that would be great, come on Charlotte, it's almost my stop!" I exclaimed. The bus halted to a stop and we both got out. We ran to the door and I shushed her as I silently opened the door. I tiptoed into the house, Charlotte following closely behind.

"So why are we secretly entering your house again?" Charlotte asked with glittering eyes.

"Because, my brother doesn't like strangers coming into the house." I replied, keeping my tone low.

"But I'm not a stranger, I know you-"

"Just be quiet!" I snarled. She flinched and I covered my mouth. Hopefully she got that I meant sorry.

"Ilta, I know you're down there!" Oliver said, coming down the stairs. My senses quickly returned and I pushed Charlotte into the closet.

But Oliver, unfortunately  saw Charlotte and was ready to give me the scolding of my life.

"Ilta!" Oliver screamed at me.

"You know not to bring anyone I have not meet at a public place first, into our house!" Oliver continued to scream at me.

"Mom she's my friend and i'm taking her to Jason's party." I say worried I pushed too much calling him Mom when he is mad at me.

"Alright if Jason aloud you to bring her to his party." Oliver said walking away to go make more cupcakes.

"That was the strangest thing I have ever seen." Charlotte says still in the closet with her mouth hanging open in shock.

"Get used to it we are all weird in one way or another." I replay closing her mouth, grabbing her hand, and dragging her upstairs.

"Let's see." I say looking through my closet.

"I think you would look perfect in a pastel blue dress and I have the perfect one!" I pull out a short sleeve dress that goes down to mid thigh and has a sparkly top.

"Isn't it a little short?" Charlotte questions.

"Nope," I say.

"Now lets dye your hair to match the dress."

"WHAT!?!" Charlotte screams dropping the brush she was holding.

"We are going to dye your hair so everyone notices you tonight, but don't worry it will wash out." I explain as I look through my dresser for the dye.

"Fine but only if you do as well."

Charlotte complies taking a look around the colorful room with the dark blue ceiling with stars to represent the night sky, a sunset on one wall and a moon rise on the other side.

"Who did the painting?" Charlotte asks.

"My brother did isn't it amazing I asked him to draw it when I knew what they where because they are the opposite of each other but both so important to the balance of life." I answered remembering the dreams.

"So that explains the room then." Charlotte says mostly to herself.

"Yep and now it's time to dye your hair than get you ready for the party." I say as I pull out the light blue hair dye aalong with some dark blue hair dye.

"What are your friends like?"

"Well my friend Jason is like an older brother always there for you even if he's popular he won't pick on you, Amber is smart and headstrong but cares for her family and is very loyal, Alex which you may or may not meet tonight is lazy, funny, and outgoing. We all love each other very much even if we look like some one decided to throw completely different people in a room together." I say proud of those I call family.

"It doesn't seem like I will fit in." Charlotte says starting to get sad again.

"You already do, I'll tell you a secret the first time I realized I wanted Alex as my friend was when he was being picked on for liking art and not sports. He trusted someone that had barely given him the time of day before to see him when he was at his weakest and let her grow stronger with him." I said

"All of my friends that have lasted went through the hard times with me and when we came out they stuck by me and I plan to do the same with you." When I finished Charlotte had tears in her eyes

"How about we let this be the start of a friendship that never ends." Charlotte said as I started on her wavy blonde hair, Adding light blue and pink highlights as I worked on it.

"Your hairs so pretty and your eyes will pop with the dress." I say as I finished up with the french braid meant to hang in front of the left shoulder.

"There we go now to the make up." I added some light blue eye shadow, concealer, and pink lip gloss.

"Now what do you think." I said as I turned Charlotte around to face the mirror.

"I look gorgeous thank you Ilta." Charlotte whispered as if she was to loud it would all be a dream.

"Your welcome but you don't really need it you look beautiful anyways." I told her.

"let me get ready then we will go."
