The school day felt like an eternity. Each class I had to go though the whole "this is the new girl, and she will be joining our class" thing. Then came the part of the day that I dreaded the most- lunch. I hated lunch. Lunch was the part of the day were you had to socialize on your own. You couldn't just be put in a desk and be forced to listen like in class. You had to do everything by yourself, and I wasn't a big fan of that when I was the "new girl". I got a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and scrambled around the cafeteria, looking for somewhere to sit.

As I was walking, I passed by Ethan and his
friends, who were obviously the "cool kids" by the way the girls eyes popped out as they walked by. He shot me a dirty look. I still don't get what I did wrong.

Ethan's POV

"Whoa dude, what was that?" Mikey said, laughing.

Mikey has been my bestfriend since 7th grade. He was also one of the most popular people in the school. He's fucked around with like 80% of the girls at the school. I wouldn't doubt it if he's had a thing with the lunch lady. He was tall and muscular, with blonde hair and had dimples deep enough to have a swimming pool inside.

Then there was my other best friend, Austin. He was about my height and had dark brown hair, kind of like mine. Girls eyes basically fall out of their head when they see him.

"What was what?" I said, clenching my jaw.

"That look you gave that chick? What went down with you guys?" Mikey said.

"Well..." I stuttered

"Well what?" Mikey asked

"Did you guys hook up?"Austin grinned and hit me in the shoulder. "Good job dude! She's hot."

"Ew! No! That's weird because she's my-"

"Your what?" Mikey raised an eyebrow.

"...My Foster sister" I spit.

They started laughing. "After what happened the last time? Now you have another chick in your house?" Austin said.

"Yeah I know.. That's what I told my mom and she's not listening. My family, like, loves her. And she's only been with us for like a day."

"I would love her too," Austin said smirking. "I mean look at her" he said, raising his eyebrows.

"Dude, can you chill for like at least a week before you try jumping in bed with my foster sister" I laughed.

"No promises" Austin winked. All of us laughed, sitting down at our lunch table with the rest of our friends. At our table it was me, Austin, Mikey, Grayson, our other friends Joey, Isaac, and Trey. I guess you could say we're the "popular kids." I saw Allison, meandering around like a lost puppy. Grayson started waving her over.

"Dude, what the hell are you doing?" I asked Grayson.

"Being nice. Maybe you should try it some time" he snapped back.

She walked towards us and sat in an extra seat next to Grayson.

Isaac raised his eyebrows "And who are you?" he grinned.

"Um..I'm..." she hesitated.

"That's Allison" I blurted, rolling my eyes.

Alison's POV

I felt sick to my stomach. Like "I'm actually gonna throw up because I'm so nervous" kind of sickness. All these guys were staring at me, and I couldn't even find the confidence to glance back at one of them. Especially not Ethan. I felt his stare without even facing in his direction. I just wish I knew what I did wrong.
