Extra Credit - Jun Manjoume (Chazz Princeton)

                  

Being an Obelisk blue definitely came with its perks. You held your place in the prestigious dorm in very high regard. A hard worker and a strong duellist were both things you could attribute to yourself. You weren't exactly a social butterfly, you hated the fact the girls dorm wasn't split into Obelisk, Ra and Osiris like the boys because it meant that trash could slip into the Obelisk blue girls dorm unchecked and dear god was there a lot of it.

You listened closely as partnerships where announced for the extra credit, of course you were going to do it, no matter who you got paired with. You could already hear the chatter of the girls all eager to get paired up with 'some cute guy'. Honestly there were only a handful of guys in blue you'd even touch.

"(L/N) and Manjoume" You perked up hearing your name and your partner.

Oh thank god, you'd actually been paired with someone that wasn't going to need to be coerced into doing extra credit and to top it off Manjoume easily fell into the handful of guys in blue you'd actually get with. Honestly, you were impressed by him he never once flunked out on exams, he crushed any opponent he'd come up against almost effortlessly. Sure he could be arrogant, rude even but when it came to the girls he always kept his manners in check and even if he showed no regard for anyone he had both the looks and the status to get away with it so easily and not be hated.

You cleared away your things and made your way to where the unofficial king of the 1st year Obelisk blues sat. One of his lackeys looked up and quickly shifted out of your way when you simply looked down at him. You moved into the now free seat that you'd be occupying for the rest of the class.

"Can't say I'm upset at this little pairing, let's aim for the top hm?" He said with a smirk.

"Aim?" You asked "We will be the top" you assured him.

"I like your attitude" he hummed in approval and you smiled getting out a pen as he passed you a sheet of paper to take down the details.

"You can work on this for the rest of the class and I suggest you do it, however you will need to spend time outside of class to complete this" Cronos snapped and with that you set to work.

The class ended and with what limited time you had you managed to get quite a bit done however the task was nothing to laugh at there was a lot of work ahead. You packed your things and went to leave.

"(Y/N)?" you heard Manjoume call and you turned.

"Yes?" You asked.

"Are you free later to work on this?" He asked.

You thought for a moment before giving him an answer.

"Yes I am, where should we meet?" You asked.

"Just come to my room" he said and with that walked off.

This trend continued for a week. You ended up in his room till late for most nights out of the week and at the library with him most of the weekend. You really hadn't gotten just how hard he worked at things, you got breaks of course and you chatted to him to get your head away from the task before you were forced back to work mode.

By the second week you were on your way to his room carrying a few books he'd told you would be useful and whatever else you'd worked on. You were honestly so sick of this task, you weren't complaining that you got to spend most of your time with Manjoume but it wasn't exactly like it was for entertainment. You were stressing out over this everything you did seemed to be utterly awful, a side effect of working non-stop you guess, however you were sure Manjoume would let you know if what you were coming up with was in fact crap. Although maybe he didn't have a clue either, it was a strange task it was hard to know what to do with it anymore.
