Sorry I couldn't update yesterday, I was out all day. Here's the next chapter :)

-Laura's POV-

Well that was highly embarrassing, but it hasn't been the worst thing that's happened to me. I think the worst by far has been when I was tripped up by Josh in the cafeteria and fell face flat in my hot food. Or the time when we had to present our project in English and my nerves got the better of me, I was stuttering and shaking while everyone laughed at me, including the teacher! There was also another time when- I think you get the point.

Everyone packs up and leaves the classroom right when the bell rings. I just finish writing the last of the notes on the board and then pack up.

"Bye Sir, the lesson was great" I thank our teacher for lesson like I always do after class. I always make sure to be polite to everyone, well everyone who talks to me, so that means just teachers. Unlike everyone else in the year, I'm kind.

Now that it's lunch I can sit outside alone while the rest of the school eats. I bring my own lunch everyday so I wont have to face everyone in the cafeteria. I had lunch here once and I still regret it. I was walking to a table with my tray when Josh- oh wait, I've already told you this story. The point is, if I eat upstairs I'll be forced to sit alone and I'll leave half of my food anyway so it's safer to eat my own food by myself.

Speaking of food...'what is this all over my locker?' I think as I walk up to it. The yellow substance is dripping all over the floor and is producing a distinctive smell.

"Egg. They egged my locker, those little-"

"Those little what?" I'm interrupted by a voice that startles me. I turn around to see some of the girls and the boys smirking and chuckling at my reaction to what they did.

"N-nothing" I stammer and play with my hair, another thing I do when I'm nervous. I start to step back to try and ease the tension, hoping that they'll leave. I fall back onto the sticky raw eggs all over my locker when suddenly they all look up. I look up too to see a huge pile of folders, books and a pair of shoes come tumbling down and onto my head. The weight knocks my petit body over and I again fall face flat on the floor.

...

I wake up to find myself in the nurse's room. It's awfully quiet and the nurse isn't even here, but Ross is. Why is he here? What happened? I begin to sit up when my head starts to pound. I go to rub it when I come across a bump in the middle of my head.

"Ouch" I say out loud. Ross finishes looking around the small room and turns to me when he hears me speak.

"Hey you're awake" he smiles and sits next to me. I'm not sure if I should be ready for a nasty comment or an explanation for why he's here. I hope for the second one.

"What are you doing here?" I ask in the nicest way possible.

"You got knocked out from a pile of books and folders...and a pair of shoes which fell from the top of your locker. I took you to here because I was worried about you" he explains and I remember. Shocked at his last sentence I give him a weird look.

He awkwardly coughs. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine, my head just hurts" I tell him. I think this is the first conversation we've ever had before. Ever.

The nurse comes into the room and brightens up when she sees me awake. "Oh great you're finally awake!" she grins and lets out a sigh of relief. "You had quite an accident!" she helps me to sit up and hands me an ice pack to hold over my bump.

Ross sits beside me and watches the nurse sort me out. "Okay I just need you to roll up your sleeve so I can-"

"What? Why?" I panic at her words. They both wonder why I'm suddenly acting strange.

"So I can take your blood pressure sweetie" she says much calmly than I reacted. What am I going to do! If I roll up my sleeve then my scars will be visible to both the nurse and Ross. If that happens it'll be my most embarrassing moment yet!
