Albus' P.O.V

From what I was told, the holiday started so Scorpius would be visiting. He was gonna come alone since we didn't get to be alone last time he came 'cause Rose accompanied him again. I was sitting at the window sill when there was a knock at my door.

"Albus, Scorpius is here." Draco said so I nodded. Scorpius walked in and I smiled. He walked over to me, well jogged, and embraced me in a hug.

"Hi love, how are you?" He asked hugging me. His bump had grown so it made it harder to hold him from the front.

"Doing alright, how was the train ride yesterday?" I asked and he took a seat on the window with me.

"Brutal! I had to pee a lot so we needed to sit near the toilets and Lily wouldn't shut up about being the only one going home." He said leaning against my chest. I put my hand on his bump and chuckled.

"Well I'm surprised she isn't happy, the little brat will get whatever she wants."

"I told her shut the hell up. I'm not sure if it's the hormones or something but she's really fucking annoying." He told me and I laughed.

"I know she is. The whole family is. How is Rose?" I asked and he snuggled into my chest more brining his feet to rest on the window sill. I positioned us so he laid between my legs as his back rested against my chest.

"She's alright, planning to get the family to visit you." He said and I smiled slightly.

"Of course because I need more people to see me coped up in a hospital room." I started to stroke his hair.

"Are you ashamed in being in here?" He asked and I sighed. I intertwined our hands and he stared at my scar.

"Not really just don't feel like seeing my family, you know that."

"Do you still hate them?"

"No just annoyed and angered." I answered honestly. "Angered that I'm sick and annoyed no one has done anything."

"When you say that you want to leave, do you mean your immediate family or the whole family?"

"Well I have a very large family." I chuckled. "The ones that are closer to me. Like Rose, Rose treats me like my siblings. Hugo, I've always liked him. And Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron, they're always nice to me. Uncle Percy is an ass and I don't like his bloody awful wife. My favorite uncle is Uncle George."

"So if you left the family you'd leave that all behind." He pointed out and I kissed his head.

"It's why I'm not leaving, just distancing myself from those who are terrible to me."

"Including your siblings?"

"Including my siblings." I said. "I know you and Rose are close, I can't deny that but I don't want her to be the child's godmother."

"Who said anything about that?" He twisted to look at me and I smiled.

"You've mentioned it before dear." I kissed his nose. "I do listen to you, you know." I chuckled and he sighed.

"I know." He huffed. "And I know you wouldn't want her to be the godmother but she's close to me and she's in your family, we don't have anyone else that is connected to us like that." He said and I rested my head on his head.
