*Harry's POV*

I could already tell that as soon as I walked through those doors, things weren't gonna be good. I watched as her eyes shot up to me, staring at me for a split second before dashing over towards me. For a second I had an odd feeling she was going to yell at me, for what? I don't know. I guess it was her expression that kind of made me expect it. But what she did instead, totally caught me off guard.

*Rosie's POV*

I knew he thought I was upset. I mean I am, but not in the way he thinks. And I know I took him by surprise when I walked up and wrapped my arms around him, digging my head in his torso. It was a couple of seconds before his long, inked arms finally made their way around me. We stood there in silence for a while, his arms engulfing me. Our hug was broken up when a small voice called out to me. Emma. I instantly detached myself, quickly padding towards the playroom with Harry following. When I arrived to the small doorway, Emma quickly ran towards me. "What's wrong babe?" I asked, kneeling down to her eye level. "I hungry," she replied, her bottom lip sticking out as she spoke. "Uhm, okay babe, come with mommy and we'll figure something out," I responded, picking her up and popping her on my hip. Her head routinely fell onto my shoulder, thumb resting in her mouth. "Everything okay?" Harry asked as I turned from the room. I nodded," she's just hungry. " He shook his head for a second before replying, "cmon, lunch is on me," and heading for the front door without letting me reply. I hesitantly followed, afraid they could have another follow up on Charlie at any time. Deciding to stick to part of my gut I stopped at the receptionist before heading out, asking if she could give me a call of anything comes in. "No problem hon, just leave your cell number and if anything comes through, we'll make sure to call you asap!" The cheerily lady chirped. For someone working in a hospital she sure was too giddy. "Thanks," I replied as I headed towards the front door. "About time," a voice said, making me jump a little before looking to my right. There sat Harry on one of the wooden benches. "Sorry, I wanted to make sure I could be notified if anything happens," I rolled my eyes, following him down the small sidewalk leading away from the hospital and towards a busy street. "So what do you wanna eat," Harry asked Emma in a squeaky voice, turning towards the small girl in my arms. I tried my best to not laugh at him, watching as Emma took her time deciding. "French fries!" Emma excitedly shouted, making both me and Harry chuckle. "Come on, there's a small diner down the way," he said, walking ahead of us once again. It wasn't a long walk, it was good enough to keep a little, motivated Emma awake for her French fries. "How many?" A busty blonde asks as soon as we enter the front. "Three," Harry responds, rocking back and forth on his heels as he awaits for the lady to seat us. "Right this way," she smiles, eyeing Harry as she turns to show us our seats. As soon as were seated she smiles at Harry cheekily before turning away. I felt my cheeks heating up, watching him smile back. Wait, why the hell am I getting so mad? It's not like we're together. I mentally rolled my eyes, glimpsing over the menu. "Are you guys ready to order?" The busty blonde returns and asks. I shake my head back to reality, not realizing I hadn't picked out my meal. "Yes can I get a cowboy burger, side of fries and a Coke please," Harry reads from the menu, closing it and smiling at the waitress. She nods and smiles, turning to me, waiting for an order. "I'll have the same, and an extra side of fries and and apple juice please," I said, watching as she wrote down my order before grabbing our menus and dashing away. "You okay?" Harry laughed, "you look flushed." I nodded, unsure what was going through my own head. "Mama fries!" Emma shouted from the seat next to me. "Soon baby, they gotta cook them first," I replied, watching her stick out her lip. Oh god no. Not here, please Emma. Her breathing became heavy as tears filled her eyes and rolled onto her rosy cheeks. "Aw baby no come on it'll be here soon," I said, shifting her onto my lap. Small hiccups escaped her mouth as more tears fell. I felt embarrassment hit me lightly as heads turns towards me with scowls. "Hey Emmy," Harry said softly, standing from his seat across the booth and crouching down next to us. "What do you say we get some ice cream after?" He asked, watching her and waiting for an answer. She slowly nodded her head as she rubbed her wet eyes. "Well then let's be a good girl for mama, the fries gotta cook. I don't think you want cold fries," he laughed, making her chuckle for a slight second. I watched as he held a small conversation with her as he returned to his seat. I wasn't even listening, just watching. It was probably the most cutest thing ever if I was being honest. "One cowboy burger for you," a perky voice said, making me turn. The blonde was back with our food on a round metal tray. "And one for you," she said in a lower tone, placing the extra fries next to me. I instantly saw Emma's eye gleam. She dug in instantly after I placed her back on her seat, allowing me to eat my own meal. It was quite quiet as we ate, everyone enjoying their meal. "Ugh, I feel like I'm gonna blow," Harry laughed as he pushed his empty plate back. "I wish I could say the same," I laughed, looking down at my plate. Half a burger and some fries still remained. "You can always take it home, along with Emma's fries," he laughed, seeing that she ate less than half her plate. "Can we have this wrapped up please," Harry asked the waitress as she handed him the check. "How much?" I asked, pushing my plate towards the blonde. "Don't mind that," he chuckled, pushing his seat out and heading towards the bathroom. About five minutes after he left my phone began to ring. I felt my stomach drop, hoping it was nothing bad if it was the hospital. I slipped my device from my back pocket, observing the number. Unknown? Curiosity killing the best of me, I answered. "Hello?" "Hey Rosie, we need to talk," a broad, thick accent said.
