Hey guys yes my one shot sucked worst then I thought I know I get it but here is the newest chapter it took longer then I thought because my beta quit at the last second need a new one thank you all here it is.

Naruto ran up to Shikamaru and hugged him.
"You'll never guess what I got!" Naruto said, sliding off his friend.
"What?" Shikamaru blinked furiously to recover from Naruto's surprise hug.
"Oh come on, you know better than that I'm not just gonna tell you." Naruto teased
Shikamaru narrowed his eyes.
"You found a new kind of Ramen? Oh I don't know." He said after seeing the look on Narutos face.
"But I did say guess what I just got not guess what I just found open your ears Shikamaru"
"Naruto just tell me what you got." Shikamaru rubbed the back of his head. "I...just...got...a...........date!"
"What" Shikamaru yelled Naruto jumped back
"Shikamaru calm down it's just a date." Naruto put a hand on his friends back while Shikamaru robbed the bridge of his nose.
"I have questions and you ARE going to answer them."
"Yes sir" Naruto quavered Shikamaru ignored the whole sir part
"one boy or girl?"
"boy"
"where what time?"
"I don't need to answer that I know you'll do..." Naruto trailed off from the look on Shikamarus face
"Ichiraku ramen at noon tomorrow" Naruto said quickly
"I knew it. Really Naruto?"
"What why are you so mad?" Naruto looked offended.
"That's the worst place for a date you always make the worst choices on where to take people on dates, Naruto I'm going to help you! "
"Wait you're not mad I gone the date?"
"No I'm going to work with you why would I be mad?"
"Don't know?" Naruto smiled
"What's his name?"
"Tsuneo ." Naruto skipped around
"You're really excited about this aren't you?"
"Yeah I am" Naruto looked happier then he had been in awhile
"I've been thinking about him since you and Temari got together"
"Really that's along time" Shikamaru had a surprised look on his face
"Yeah I know" Naruto smiled
"So how are you going to help me." Naruto looked at Shikamaru
"Come with me you're going to become the perfect boyfriend" Shikamaru had a gleam in his eyes
"Okay" Naruto trailed behind Shikamaru
