Naruto alone

Hey guys sorry about the late update I was really busy I have to work and school get in the way so sorry I will try to update more please enjoy ^_^

"I'm fine" Naruto said rolling his eyes but Tsunade wasn't going to let him go she stood over Naruto looking at him. "shut up or make you stay here another three months" the legendary kunoichi told him. "but I'm fine" he complained fidgeting "you were taken off life support one hour ago" Tsunade glared at him. Naruto shrink back "now shut up" Naruto pouted and stayed still "okay" she said
after about 10 minutes it seemed like five hours to Naruto Tsunade spoke "you're going to be here for three days for observation" Tsunade stood up "what why I'm fine there's nothing wrong with me" Naruto jumped out of bed Shikamaru grabbed him and said "don't argue unless you want to stay here longer" then he let his friend go Naruto stood and watched Tsunade leave "I don't want to be here" Naruto almost yelled in frustration "if you're good you can get food sooner" Shikamaru said smiling "will you buy me Ramen?" Naruto looked expected "okay" Shikamaru said giving up Naruto smiled in victory but Shikamaru was the real winner if the ramen was the price so be it at least Naruto would be still and stay in the hospital.

Over the next three days Naruto and Shikamaru became best friends Shikamaru became a kind of rehab for Naruto with the whole Sasuke thing which had basically killed him inside the two of them avoided the subject as much as possible this was good and bad the more they avoided it the better Naruto would get but the longer they avoided the worst it would be when they did talk about it Shikamaru was thinking about this and something hit him from behind and knocked him down "you know you should really be there when your best friend gets out of the hospital." Naruto said standing up "sorry?" Shikamaru was confused why was Naruto looking at him like he wanted something
"What?"
He looked at Naruto "you said you would buy me Ramen when I got out so let's get Ramen"
"now you have to be kidding me what a drag" he complained "you complain too much" Naruto exclaimed as if you just noticed "fine I'll get you Ramen" Shikamaru grumbled "yay!" Naruto yelled. They went to the Ramen shop Naruto ordered the normal and Shikamaru ordered the same trusting Narutos judgment on Ramen after the first bowl Shikamaru broke the silence "Naruto?"
"Yes" Naruto responded with his mouth full
"can we talk?" Shikamaru looked at him out of the corner his eye
"okay" Naruto said after he swallowed
"what" he said Shikamaru hesitated
"I want to talk about... Him"  Naruto froze then kept eating like nothing happened Shikamaru waited for them to speak
"one why.. why do you want me relive that two there is nothing to talk about he hert me nothing else." Shikamaru look at Naruto if to say I know that's not true.
Naruto looked back at him with noodles hanging out of his mouth
"okay maybe the second reason isn't good but the first one is so true why do you want me to relive that you know better than even me what happened after he left so why... do you want me to cry or go into my dead state again" Shikamaru hated how they had started to call what Naruto had been in his dead state. "No of course not you know I don't want to hurt you but we need to talk about it you know as well as I do the longer we avoid it the worse it'll be when we do talk about it" Shikamaru almost expected for Naruto to hit him but he relaxed as Naruto un- clenched his fists
"I know but I feel like if I avoid it forever it'll go away he will fave away like a bruise on my heart" "no absolutely not Naruto he was a big part of your life your not going to forget him you loved him I saw how much you two cared for each other his not going to fade away a person never fave away even after they die" he said looking Naruto in the eyes "I'm not allowed to forget him?" Naruto said with tears in his eyes "NO you're not"
Shikamaru said a gleam in his eyes "okay we'll talk"
Naruto paused to bite his lip "but not here not now"
  "you have to promise me"
Shikamaru looked at Naruto like he wasn't going to get out of this without a fight
"okay tonight my place 9 o'clock"
Shikamaru nodded like he was satisfied "see you then"
