"Weasley, Alithia!" Professor McGonagall called the last name off of the scroll. A beautiful girl, with firey red hair stepped up to the stool.

The hat didn't even touch her head before shouting out, "GRYFFINDOR!"

The Gryffindor table erupts into cheers. The older Weasley boys shouting the loudest. The Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws applauding politely. The Slytherins sitting still as stone.

She sat next to a boy, a first year like herself. He had short brown hair, deep brown eyes, and a dazzling smile. He held his hand out and said, "Oliver Wood."

"Alithia Weasley." She said with a smile, shaking his hand.

The headmaster spoke about some rules, clapped his hands together, and a wide array of food appeared on the table. Alithia was not in the least surprised. Bill and Charlie had explained every minute detail they had about the castle.

Oliver, on the other hand, jumped slightly at the foods appearance. Alithia giggled at him and shook her head. He smiled back at her.

Over the next few months. Alithia made friends with her roommates, Adaline: who turned out to be her best friend, Racheal, Molly, and Mia.

She and Oliver were nice to one another. But not exactly friends.

She and Adaline attended every quidditch match, cheering on Charlie during his games. When he wasn't playing, the three enjoyed watching the match together.

***************

Over the summer, Alithia trained extra hard with Charlie and Bill so that when it came time for quidditch tryouts she would be guaranteed a spot on the team.

Percy basically stayed to himself all summer, as per usual. The twins pulled pranks on anybody they could. Ron became the butt of majority of the pranks. Ginny played the annoying baby sister all summer. Especially when Adaline and Racheal came over those couple of times.

Mia and Molly didn't talk to Alithia and Adaline all summer long.
