Our plan worked!

Pero walang hiya—wala sa plano ang masuntok ako ng Dane na yun.

Kasama ko si Louie ngayon dito sa park.

“Sira na tuloy ang kapogian ko. May pasa pa ako. Tsk.” I opened the conversation. Kanina pa kasi siya tahimik e.

“Ayos yan. Para mabawasan naman ang kayabangan mo..”

“Yung boyfriend mo ang mayabang--”

“Stop. Wag muna natin siyang pag-usapan. Please.”

“Sorry.”

“Sige. Uwi na ako.” She stand up

“Hatid na kita.”

Hinatid ko naman siya sa kanila.

“Lee--”

“Yes?”

“Please stay away from me.” She smiled bitterly

“But--”

“Hindi dapat ako ang inaatupag mo. And ayaw kong nag-aaway kami ni Dane. Kaya please..” she said

“I understand.”

She then left.

Sorry Louie pero gagawin ko kung ano ang tama.

Hindi ka mahal ni Dane. Sasaktan ka lang niya, ako ang nararapat sayo. Si Lucille ang nararapat kay Dane. I’m sorry.

Austin texted me that our plan worked.

Nakakaguilty man pero—ang saya ko. Di magtatagal, babalik ulit sa akin si Dane.

Pagkapasok ko sa elevator—nakasabay ko si Dane.

What a lucky day!

“H-hi..” I greeted him

He smiled pero halatang pilit.

Napansin kong nakakunot ang noo niya.

“Anything troubling you?” I asked

“Tss. Louie.” He directly said

“Love quarrels? I see.” Is he worried kasi nag away sila?

Tahimik na ulit kami.

“Want to have some coffee? Ako taya.” I smiled at him sweetly

“Maybe next time.” He hurriedly went out of the elevator

Lumabas din ako.

“Dane!”

Nilingon niya ako.

“I’m sorry Lucille. Louie needs me. Bye.”

Did he just—reject my offer?

He left me for Louie? The heck!

Dumiretso ako sa bahay nila Louie.

I need to say sorry. Pero hindi ko alam paano magsisimula.

I asked their maid kung san siya—nasa pool daw.

I looked at her from afar. She soaked her feet in the pool. I heard her sob.

“Sh*t.”

I silently went to her.

“Leche! Huhuhu!” Pinigilan ko ang tawa ko then I silently sat down sa upuan malapit sa likuran niya.

“Ahhh! Hindi ko naman sinsadyang pumanig kay Lee—He’s just hurt and—Waaaa!”

Para siyang batang na agawan ng lollipop.

I went to her side.

“Shhh. Stop crying. Ang pangit mo.”

“Ikaw kasi. Huhu!”

She’s responding but she’s not looking at me.

“Bat naman ako?” sinabayan ko siya

This time humarap na siya sa akin--

She pointed her pointing finger at me and touched my nose.

I smiled. She’s weird and cute at the same time.

Pinipigilan niya ang pag-iyak.

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”

She moved fast dahilan para mahulog siya sa pool. Engot talaga. Tss.

I laughed.

Natauhan naman siya. Saka niya pa na realize na hindi ako imagination. Pfft.

“That’s how I fall for you.” She looked at me with a smile. Bumabanat ah.

Umalis naman siya sa pool saka ako hinarap.

Her mood changed.

“That’s how I fall for you. No warnings. No signs. No preparations. By accident..”

“Louie--”

“As I fall for you---it pains me to see you--. Nevermind.” She walked away

“Louie--”

He hugged me from the back. Tuluyan na akong nanlambot.

She whispered into my ear the words that I long to hear.

“I love you. So please, stay away from him. It’s killing me out of jealousy.”

I hold his hand.

“I love you too.”

Nanatili kaming ganun hanggang sa---

“Ahh—Dane. Basa kana. Baka gusto mong--”

“Go on a shower with you? Why not?”

Sh-shower with me? Naramdaman ko ang dugo pa akyat sa mukha ko.

“I-ikaw ah! Na-napaka--”

“Just messing with you--” he kissed my cheek.

“Bihis kana.” We went inside.

“How about you?” I asked. Nabasa na din kasi siya.

“I’ll go home. Let’s have a date tomorrow. 4pm. Susunduin kita. Wear something comfortable.”

“Okay. Ingat pauwi.”

He went closer to me.

“Goodnight.” He kissed my forehead

I smiled at him.

Kanina sa cheeks ngayon sa forehead. Kelan kaya sa lips? Haha! Lande ko ulit.
