" It's going on Wednesday, DeShawn hasn't spoke to me all day at school but I can tell he's carrying heavy weight, he looks all depressed he didn't start acting this way until I told him I got accepted to SCAD, I know he happy for me but he just gave me that look that *don't go* look but him ignoring me is just pissing me off "

" I can't stand holding shit in, if there's a problem I like to talk about it and forgive, holding it in just makes me miserable, raise yah' hand if that compares to you in any type of way "

" The bell rung for lunch, today I want zaxby's, I be craving that good ass bread but I'll be back at school before lunch is over "

" I speed walked outside to where I parking my Honda Accord, I don't like pushing myself through the crowd "

" I glanced at DeShawn sitting in his car smoking a blunt, it's now or never, we gon' talk about this shit"

" I guess he saw me coming he unlocked the doors and I let myself in just looking at him "

" Take me seriously put that shit out " Raquel said.

" I just lit it though, how bout I let you take a pull I still gotta' put it out " DeShawn said.

" If you hand it to me I'mma' put it out, either way I want it out " Raquel said.

" Aight fine " DeShawn said rubbing the blunt gently on his ashtray putting it out hut he plans on lighting it back up later.

" Wassup " DeShawn said.

" You tell me " Raquel said.

" You been real quiet all day, wassup' wit' dat' " DeShawn said.

" Are you fucking serious, you the one been avoiding me ever since I told you I got accepted to SCAD, wassup' with dat " Raquel said.

" Why you gotta' go to SCAD outta all the colleges, you know good damn well I'm not finna' go there, I got dreams too yah' know " DeShawn said.

" I know that DeShawn, I'm not stupid but I'm not finna' give up my dreams to support yours, I know we gon' be in two different places but no matter what I'm still gonna' be here, I love you, I'm happy to wear this ring, now when I look down at it I blush, I love you so if gon' have a little bit of a distance relationship it doesn't matter, I don't plan on going anywhere any time soon but for this to work you gotta' be ok with me going to SCAD but you never told me where you plan on going " Raquel said.

" University of Georgia " DeShawn said.

" That's far " Raquel said.

" They already accepted me, I got the letter before we went to Colorado " DeShawn said.

Raquel lips quivered

She broke down covering her face with her hands

" Baby calm down its not gonna' be that bad " DeShawn said.

" Yes it is, your gonna' meet people and next thing I know you'll be breaking up with me for someone else " Raquel said.

" If that's what you really think you must think I'm a idiot, I gave you that promise ring for a reason, I love yo' ass with everything in me, I'm in love with you, no one is ever taking your place and I don't give a fuck how far the distance is I'm yours, you mines, you want me, I want you, I'm not letting nothing break us apart " DeShawn said.

" When you tell me you love me I need to be able to trust that, when you say you'll never leave me I need to be able to believe it, I'm willing to deal with the long distance relationship if you promise me nothing is gonna'
change " Raquel said lifting her head up wiping her tears away.

" Baby come here, you trippin' over nothin', stop all that crying, I ain't going no where " DeShawn said pulling Raquel on top of him straddling his lap kissing her promise ring and kissing her lips sliding his tounge in her mouth.

Raquel moaned grinding on his lap wrapping her arms around his waist under his jacket and hoodie plus tank top feeling his warm abs running her hand up and down his back massaging it letting their tounges battle

" Fuck stop Raq you turning a nigga' on and if we don't get out this car we particularly skippin', chill " DeShawn said.

" Not even a quickie " Raquel moaned biting his bottom lip resting her head on his chest.

" Naw' we don't got time, come on now get up I'll make it up to later " DeShawn said.

" Ugggh' fine " Raquel said getting off him and out the car.

DeShawn got out with his car keys locking the doors shoving the keys in his pockets and grabbed Raquel's right hand locking fingers kissing her promise ring walking back inside their high school

" I love you Raq " DeShawn said.

" I love you too Shawny " Raquel said.
