~Stutzer Elias to the right.~

Alexander lay awake on the bed, staring widely at the wall before him, trying to process his thoughts. He felt the uncomfortable clothes he remembered having chosen last night clinging to his body, he felt various, intimate parts of skin twitching at disgusting memories, and he could feel his insides clench at whatever had been supposedly put in his coffee. Despite all that, he couldn't bring himself to believe it had all been real.

The one thing that made him refuse to accept it as anything other than a nightmare was the memory of Elias interacting with a human other than him. He took the man as a hallucination, which could only interact with another, right? Right?!

He was just paralysed in paranoia as he stared at the dark grey wall, which failed to provide him with answers or consolation. The occasional knocks on the door didn't help. He knew he couldn't ignore the two men any longer, they would certainly get suspicious as they were aware of his condition. He didn't want to have to explain anything.

Slowly, he sat up, hoping to not experience dizziness, but despite his gentle moves his view didn't cease to blacken and head didn't stop spinning for a few moments. After assuming it was safe to stand up, he undressed from the sweaty clothes and made his way to the bathroom at the end of the hall, ignoring the curious glance Venom darted his way from the bedroom as he watched him walk in boxers.

After he turned the shower on he furiously rubbed his skin, wishing to just tear it off of him, anything to make the repulsing sensation go away. He felt as his own body was a cage, and wanted nothing more than to scream his lungs out as he thought of the possibility of last night actually having happened. How could his world turn upside down so fast?

After going back to his room and dressing up in his usual oversized white shirt and boxers, he heard Klaus announcing breakfast. He hesitantly went to the kitchen, unsure if his stomach growled in hunger or uneasiness. He felt like throwing up since the moment he opened his eyes that morning.

The couple seemed to have noticed that as they eyed his paler than usual self. Sitting down, Alex watched his plate of toast with honey, then glared at the cup of coffee and pushed it away. He didn't seriously think they would put something in it, but the thought of drinking it made him shiver.

His adoptive parents took their seats, Klaus starting to eat while Venom, as usually, just stared. After a few moments, the villain noticeably grew nervous, as if preparing to announce something. Alexander did his best to ignore it, not wanting to deal with whatever it was.

Eventually, Venom cleared his throat as he scratched the side of the table, and looked up to Alex, bright hazel eyes hesitant. "Look, I am aware that we have been horrid parents." he started, before shaking his head. "More like I have been a horrid parent." he corrected himself, brushing off the look Klaus darted his way at hearing that.

"I just want to say that... you have every right to move out if you want to, we'll support you in the decision, that's if you still want to keep in touch by then."

Before he got to continue, Alex dropped the spoon of honey in the jar, ignoring the fact that it was now sinking. "Where is this coming from?" he asked, voice dry and raspy. The villain sighed, shrugging.

"I ruined you." he stated blankly, as if all the nervousness faded into acceptance. "And you're not ever happy. I should have insisted on not adopting you, I knew something would have happened. Don't get me wrong, I don't regret a single moment spent with you in my life..." he said softly, to which Klaus visibly tensed, looking away. "But I feel horrid for having shattered yours."
