Ch. 22 It's 2016 pt. 2

Kelli's POV

"If you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms and if you like having secret little rendezvous, if you like to do the things you know that we shouldn't do, baby I'm perfect, baby I'm perfect for you..."

We are currently swaying to the beat and mouthing the words of One Direction's third and final preformance of the night.

The members of Five Seconds Of Summer have been, either discreetly staring or plain old boring holes in the back of my head all night.

"Your ex is still staring," Maddie whispers into my ear, while I casually turn around and glance at Calum.

Sure enough he was staring intently at me, but quickly looked away when I made eye contact.

"I know," I say tiredly. It was an hour before midnight, shortly I can go back to the hotel and sleep everything off.

"Happy New Year everybody!" Liam shouts to the cheering crowd as they all walk off stage.

"Kelli!" Harry says sweeping me up in a hug, and spinning me around slightly.

"Happy New Year!" He says kissing me, while in the corner of my eye I watch as Calum's jaw clenches and his posture tenses up dramatically.

"It's not even midnight yet, you dope!" I laugh, as he hugs me even tighter.

"......Five Seconds of Summer!" Ryan Seacrest announces a few moments later.

I stay as still as possible, keeping eye contact with Harry as Calum and his band make their way towards the stage, but Luke makes a slight detour, whispering something in Maddie's ear as she kindly flips him off, like she did with Calum earlier today.

I can feel Calum's, disapproving and almost sad gaze as he walks onto the stage, while the fans begin to go nuts.

As they begin their first song, I look at Maddie who is currently tangled in Niall's arms, clearly still irked about whatever Luke had said to her.

"Where's Louis?" I ask Harry quietly.

"He ran into a dressing room a few minutes ago, if he asks, you are fans that won a contest of some sort." He says, as we unwrap from each other.

"What do you think of them?" Liam asks suddenly, pointing to a screen showing 5SOS on stage currently performing 'Hey Everybody'.

"Eh, I've seen better..." Maddie mumbles, straightening herself out as she glances at the screen in disgust. "Like you." She quickly adds on, kissing Niall lightly on the cheek making him turn red.

Harry, Liam, and Niall randomly distance themselves from us, making me frown until I realized who was heading our way.

"Hey Lou," Harry says casually shooting me a warning look.

"Hey Haz," Louis says patting him on the back, "and who are these lovely young ladies?" He says politely, but you can see the apprehension in his eyes.

"Some very lucky fans," Niall says, but doesn't elaborate.

"Well, I hope you have enjoyed the show so far girls." Louis says, running a hand through his hair.

I'm seriously only three inches shorter than him, oh my god he's so tiny!

Ugh, and his accent is so thick, he looks like a freaking a ball of sunshine!!

I refrain from saying how adorable he is out loud and smile lightly at him.

Liam and Louis break into a small side conversation, while Harry slides a little closer to me, but still keeping a respectable distance between us.
