*Ember's POV*I jumped up from the chair and turned my music off. I grabbed Kaylen's arm and took of full sprint up to the cow barn. Mason was no where to be seen. I ran up the hill to the campers. I checked his camper. No one around. That's when I realized he had his truck. I sprinted toward the back gate. I knocked over the gate guy who tried to stop me. I got there just in time. I saw Mason pulling out of his parking spot. He looked just as bad as this morning. He was turning to go on the back road out of the fair. I threw myself out into the road. He had just enough time to stop from hitting me. He angrily flung the door open and jumped out. He was about to yell at me when I hugged him. I started crying again. "I am so sorry, I will crawl to the ends of the earth to apologize, I will stop at nothing to find him. Please, please, please. I can't live without you." I pleaded. He put his arms around me and hugged back. "I can't live without you either." He let go and I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him.
Kaylen had caught up, "how can you run so fast!" She said putting her hands over her mouth seeing what had just happened . "Adrenaline" I said pulling away from Mason. He smiled, "you look like you got in a fight with a bear." He said. "You ain't looking too hot right now either, raccoon man." I said locking our hands together. "Come on let's sort out the mess of a outfit you got going on there." Mason said pulling me through the gate. He threw his keys at the gateman asking to park his truck.
Kaylen went and sat down on a lawn chair and we snuck into my camper. Hopefully no one saw Mason come in. I plugged my phone into the auxiliary cord in the radio and turned on Pandora. I took off my sweatshirt, and Mason grabbed my arm. "Hey, the butterflies." He said looking at my swollen arm. "What happened?" He asked, pulling me into a hug. "I can't stand loosing you." I said putting my head on his chest. "I am never loosing you. Even if I have to chop off my legs and crawl to the end of the world." He said squeezing me harder. "Ok," I broke from his hug "I need to sort myself out." I said walking into my room, The song, migraine, by twenty one pilots, came on and Mason turned the radio up. I walked back out of my room and started singing. He laughed at my singing and walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I started laughing. He started singing along. "You are good at singing." I said to him. "You are better, love" he said pulling me closer. "What, did you just acquire a British accent?" I said looking up at him. "Yea, do you like it?" He said in the accent, "I like it, I think it is cute." I said kissing him on the cheek.
I changed into high waisted jean shorts, and a crop top, and put my hair in a messy bun. Mason changed his cloths. I was applying a small amount of mascara, lipstick, and eyeliner, when Mason walked into the bathroom. He looked into the mirror and fixed his hair. I turned to him and asked if I looked alright. He said I looked fine. He squinted looking at my lips, "what, is something wrong?" I asked. He put his hand gently on my jaw and took his thumb and wiped a little bit of lipstick off that was below my lips. "There, now you are perfect." He said taking my hand. "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" He asked with a smile. "No, but it did when I scraped my knee" he looked down at my legs. "What, you don't look hurt." I lifted his face. "No, silly, I scraped my knee falling for you." He kissed my lips. We stood there for a minute. He stepped back and stood behind me. He put his head on my shoulder. "Where have you been ,all of my life?" He said wrapping his arms around my waist. "Here," I said looking out the bathroom door.
Mason kissed my neck, and I saw something out the living area window. It was Andrew, and his friends, looking in the window at us. Mason kissed my neck again. "Hold on," I said picking up my pin knife and stuck it in my back pocket. I walked over to the door. "Where you goin, babe?" He said following me. "Ok, on the count of three, grab your shoes and follow me." He tried to say something. I interrupted "1, 2, 3!" I flung the door open and grabbed my boots and took off out of the den, Mason followed.
I saw Andrew and his friends sprinting for the fair gate. They hurtled the posts for parking spots. I jumped over them easily. Mason followed. They took off and split up. I still followed Andrew and his two friends. They took off down the midway. I yelled back at Mason to follow them. I took off to the veterans building to cut them off. I rounded the corner and they saw me and stopped. They tried to turn and run, but Mason was behind them. I started walking toward them. Mason caught Andrew's friend by his shoulders. I pulled the pen knife out of my pocket, and ran my thumb on the edge, studying it. A small crowd formed around us. "Did you send them?" I asked and stopped walking and looked up at Andrew. "Send what, I didn't send anything!" He said in a hurried tone. I looked back down at the pin knife, and up at Mason. He winked at me, I looked at Andrew and smiled slightly. I walked over to his friend and picked up his arm. His friend started yelling. Mason kicked his leg and he shut up. "Now, you don't want your friend to get hurt do ya now." I said in a psychotic way. Taking the pin knife in my fist. "No. Please!" Andrew said quietly. "What, I can't hear you, and my hand is getting twitchy!" I half yelled, gently placing the tip of the knife on the poor friends arm.
"NO! HE ISNT IN THIS PLEASE! I AM SORRY. I DIDNT MEAN TO RUIN THE RELATIONSHIP. I just have had a crush on you and was jealous. You wouldn't hurt him right?" He half yelled "oh oh ha oh oh I think we know I would!" I quickly slid the back case of the knife just above the boys arm so he wouldn't get cut, making him scream. The crowd screamed. Andrew screamed. I fell to my knees in laughter. Mason let the boy go and laughed so hard he almost fell. "Dude, you scream like a girl!" I said to the boy "don't mess with someone with a demented mind!" I said through laughter. Mason took my hand and I stood up. The boy fainted. I gave Mason a high five. "Great job, I'll call you when I need to permi ally scar someone." Mason said. "All help with an assistant." I said raising my eyebrows. Andrew walked over to his friend who regained consciousness. "And none of you saw this right!" I yelled to the crowd. Penknife tightly gripped in my fist. The crowd scattered. "No really, did you get me the belt and stuff?" I asked Andrew, flipping the pin knife and putting it back into my back pocket. "Yea, I thought you need a new halter and I saw you look at a belt like the one." He said helping his friend up. "That was sweet of you, thanks, from one friend to another." I said smiling at him. Andrews friend looked at me. "And you guys are friends! What the heck! She almost killed me, and you are ok with this Andrew?"
"Yea, we are friends, we do things like this, but usually not this far." Andrew said as we walked back to the barns. "Dude you got to stop looking in her Windows, that is too far. Even I am not that too crazy." Mason said softly pushing Andrew. Andrew explained it was a dare and didn't think he would see you guys like that. "You have a dysfunctional friendship" Mason said running his hand through his hair. "All of my relationships are dysfunctional!" I turned to him and hit his arm. "Ok I messed with the wrong person when we were in the barn the other day!" The one kid said. I stopped, they stopped. I walked over to the kid. I slapped him across the face. "What was that for?" He asked rubbing his face. I just kept walking.
We got to the barn and I fed. Then we walked over to the cow barn and sat for a while. I slowly fell asleep. I could hear them talking.M: so what is your name?
