---Craig's pov---

Shit. I didn't mean to say that.

"Well, yeah, sure," I try to say calmly, "I mean, I know some girls who think so," I say.

He looks at me and nods, "O-Oh."

He looks at the floor again.

We stay there in silence for a minute.

"Craig?" He says not looking up.

"What?"

"W-We're best friends, r-right?" He asks nervously.

---Tweek's pov---

If he doesn't like me like I like him, then we can at least be close friends. Right?

"...I don't know," he says, "I'm pretty sure Clyde's my closest friend. I've know him the longest."

I feel like I've been punched and had all the wind knocked out of me.

"Y-Yeah... That m-makes s-sense," I can barely choke out.

I take a silent breath and plaster on a smile.

Craig glances at me, and then looks at his phone, "I should go. I have stuff to do," he says.

"O-Okay. Have f-fun," I say still smiling.

He stares at me for a second, "Are you okay...?" He asks hesitantly.

"I'm p-perfectly fine. J-Just fine."

He nods and puts his phone away, "Okay, see you later then."

I nod, forcing my smile even wider, "Okay."

As he walks out of the room, I watch him. I felt like I couldn't look away, or I'd never see him again.

When he was finally out of sight, I dropped my gaze back down to the floor.

He won't like me like that.
