I can't stop thinking about what Natalia said last night.
I know that we're just friends but up in my head I'm her boyfriend, kissing her soft, sweet lips.

"Did I just hear you guys practicing?" Natalia asked coming in.
"Yea love." Harry said putting his arms around her waist and kissing her.
"Aw come on man we really don't need to see that." Liam said throwing a pillow at them.
Oh Liam he can be really overprotective of his sister sometimes.
"Well the song was amazing! Who wrote it?" Nat said giggling.
"Neil did." Louis replied to her.
"Wow Niall that's amazing how'd you come up with it?"
"That's what we'd like to know." Harry said crossing his arms. "But he won't tell us."
"Apparently it's about some girl." Louis said.
"Ooh. Come on Niall you can tell us." She said.
"No guys can we please just drop this?"
"Hmmm let me think... No." Harry retorted.
I groaned. How am I going to stop this? I can't tell them that it's about Natalia. Maybe I should just make up some random girl. No no because then they'll want to meet her and have me go on a date with her and if she's not real I can't do that...
"Niall Come on just tell us we're your mates, and we tell each other everything."
"Yeah come on man we aren't going to judge you." Louis said.
"No guys."
"Niall. Outside. Now." Liam said sternly.
I put my arms up in surrender and followed him out into the hallway.
"Niall, I know when something's up. Please tell me and maybe I can help you. I won't tell the guys if you don't want me to okay? You can trust me."
"Okay... Here it goes..." I told Liam everything from the night I first kissed Natalia to today when I came up with the song.
"Wow... Niall I had no idea. I'm sorry that you can't do anything about it though. Why don't you tell Harry and maybe--" I cut him off,
"No way. I can't do that! Harry loves Natalia! It's not like he's just going to stop so I can have her."
"Right okay I was just suggesting."
"Yeah well thanks anyways."
"No problem, now lets get back to the guys shall we?" I nodded.
"Well Niall you gonna tell us?" Harry asked.
"Nope."
"Dang it! Well Liam did you get anything out of him?"
"No sorry."

Harry groaned.
"Sorry but I can't tell you." I said.
"Why not?"
"Because it would change everything and nothing would be how it is now and it could break us all up so no." I rambled.
"Why would it break us up?"
"Because I LOVE NATALIA!" I shouted. I immediately covered up my mouth after I said that.
"You love me?" Natalia said slowly.
"Niall... Why would you think that that would break us up?" Harry asked.
Wait what.
"Well because she's your girlfriend and I thought you would be mad at me."
"Why would I be mad? I can't be mad at feelings Niall it's how you feel and I respect that."
"You. You do?"
"Yeah we all do. Niall it's okay, remember in the eighth grade when you went on a date with that Sara chick? And I was really into her but I watched you go out with her anyway? It's like that Niall, I couldn't stop my feelings for her and you couldn't stop yours."
"Right. Yeah okay. Thanks guys."
Natalia just looked at me. But it was her smile that got me thinking. She wasn't just smiling at me, she was smiling as if to say thank you for finally saying that out loud.
Maybe she does secretly like me.

After practice was over, I slipped a note underneath Natalia's door.
