"i can't even do it anymore" she sobbed as she hugged her legs tighter, her other arm grabbing my hand. "newt, why does it hurt so bad? it's not like we actually we were together anyways" she chuckled, wiping some of her tears away.

"stop thinking about gally, y/n he's not worth it" i told her, biting on my lip to stop myself from saying that she actually belong with me instead of thomas.

"he's a huge load of bloody shit" i added, wiping one stray of tear rolling down her cheek. "stop being so rude, newt" she chuckled, tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear.

"i'm going to admit that i like him, no, i love him" she said, pushing herself off the ground to stand up. feeling a sudden mini heart attack when she said those words. "y/n he's an asshole, don't you dare do that" i said, following closely behind her while she walked towards thomas' direction.

"what?" she exclaimed, stopping in her tracks. "you don't own me, stop acting like you're my boss"

"i said don't do it"

"jesus christ, newt. could you please stop telling me what to do? i love gally"

"what does he have that i don't?" i blurted out, her face showing confusion as tears continued on flowing down on her pale face. "i'm the one who's always been there for you, not him" i added, pointing at gally who's currently talking to alby in the homesteads.

"newt" she mumbled, taking a few steps closer towards me. "save it, it's not like i have to be with you anyways"
