Chapter 16: I'm back

- 2 years later- ( Kendell's 18 b-day)
Kendell's P.O.V:
Today's my 18 birthday. I am finally an adult. YES!!! I wokeup to a sleeping Brandon beside me. "Morning Brandy" I said trying annoy him cause he hates it when I call him that. "Morning Kendy. Happy birthday " he said while kissing my forehead.

Today was the day I finally decided to go downstairs. Jai hasn't come back yet. He hasn't even tried to contact me. I took a shower and put on a pair of shorts with singlet that Jai gave me. It was their dirty pig singlet.

Brandon and I walked downstairs and sat in the kitchen. Where my dad was sober for the first time. My mom wasn't crying for the first time and my sister was dressed properly for the first time.

"Happy birthday" they all shouted. I just nodded and said thanks.

We were eating on the table silently until we heard a knock.

" I will get it" I said while getting up and walking to the door. I opened the door and their he was. The love of my life. Jai. Jai Brooks and beside him stood his brothers. I ran to Jai and kissed him for the first time in 2 years. Then I ran and hugged beau and Luke.

"We're here to save you" all three of them said in illusion.

Then my parents sister and Brandon came. "Didn't I tell you not to f-" my dad started but Luke cut him off. "Before you try to break our faces please give us the Chance to speak". My mom nodded.

"Well your daughter she is 18 and well she's an adult now" Luke began.

"Meaning she can make her own decisions and that she is responsible of her own actions" Beau added. Wow he actually said something educational. Am I dreaming.

"So I just wanted to tell you that I love you with all my heart and well will you marry me?" Jai said to me while going on his knee and pulling out a ring. I was literally about to cry.

When I was about to say something my sister said "eww why the fuck would you wanna marry her she's a fucking slut".

"Are you sure your not just looking in the mirror" Brandon replied. Which made my sister scream and run upstairs.

"No she will not marry-" my dad started but this time I cut him off. "No dad or foster dad or whoever the hell you are. This is my fucking life and you are not controling it. So this is my call not yours and Jai my answer is ...."
