Chapter 4: New friends

Kendell's P.O.V:

" Are you okay?" The gorgeous guy asked helping me up. I nodded my head. "Thank you" I said quietly looking into the guy's brown eyes. He seemed familiar but I didn't know from where. "Oh um I'm Jai. Jai Brooks" he said still holding onto my hand. "I'm Kendell. Kendell Smith" i replied with more confidence. " Wait are you from the Janoskians?" I asked. "Yes, yes i am" he replied giving me his sloth smile. We talked for a bit. I told him about my self like my age, grade, school life etc, and he told more about him. "Uh Can I hang with you until 9:00 cause i don't want my parents to think something was wrong?" I asked while looking at the ground. He lifted my chin up so I was looking at him "Of course but let me remind you my brothers and my two friends are gonna be there and they are more wilder than they are in the videos" he replied with a smile. I returned the smile.

We arrived at his house and I saw three shirtless guys running around while James i assumed since I watched the videos was just standing there laughing. "Hey guys this is my friend Kendell" Jai said getting the guys attention. I just smiled shyly and waved. "Hi" they all said. They all introduced them selves and then we went into their lounge. "So Kendell tell us about yourself" Luke said. "Well I'm 15, in grade 10, got bullied all my life, have one friend named Brendon and yea that's basically it" I said blankly. "Oh well you have five new friends who will never leave your side" he replied giving me a smile. I smiled back knowing I'm made great friends. We exchanged numbers than ended up watching mean girls.

Once it was 9:00 Beau dropped me off. He told me if I ever needed anything just to call one of them. I walked in the house with a big smile on my face. My parents were watching T.V so I quickly went upstairs. I can't wait to tell Brenden. I always loved him as more than a friend and he told me he loved me too. But we never talked about it again. I know he will be happy that mine and Mathew's date didn't go well so now he can ask me.

I opened my room door with a smile on my face. But then saw something I never wanted to see. My smile faded and tears streamed down my face. My best friend Brenden the one that loved me as more than a friend was kissing my sister.
