Chapter 17: Kendell Brooks???

"No she will not marry-" my dad started but this time I cut him off. "No dad or foster dad or whoever the he'll you are. This is my fucking life and you are not controling it. So this is my call not yours and Jai my answer is ...."

Kendell's P.O.V
"So this is my call not yours and Jai my answer is of course I will marry you!!!" I nearly screamed the last part.

Jai put the ring on me and picked me up and spinned me around. Then I kissed him.

You could literally see the steam coming from my dad's head and my mom was about to cry again.

Luke took one invitation out and looked at me. I nodded. "Mrs and Mr.Smith you guys are invited to come to the wedding of Kendell Rose and Jai Brooks. If you have any problems then you guys don't have to come. We hope to see you there!!" Luke said sassily (I think I just made that word up 😂😂)

"Okay Kendall go pack your stuff" Beau said. We all ran into the guest room which was my room. We packed all of my stuff. Once we were done we ran down stairs and I saw my mom crying her eyes out with my dad whose eyes were watery.

I felt super bad but it was their fault. Ugh I feel so guilty. I ran to them and gave them a huge hug. They hugged back. "We are so sorry honey" my mom said. "It's okay I forgive you but that doesn't mean I will forget. I am still going to live with Jai" I said. They looked disappointed but they understood.

"I hope I see you at the wedding" I said while giving them one last hug and going to the car where the boys were.

There was still guilt in me for leaving them like that but it was their fault. When it's true love no one can come between it and by no one I mean noone.
