Not Backing out : Chapter 2

Of course I am overwhelmed with 'Happy Birthday's' and hugs as I walk in the building. I give little smile here and a little hug there to kind of show a happy emotion, But I guess they caught on to my overwhelmed feelings and backed off after awhile.

I walk over to the lockers, and dropped off my bag and other clothes. As soon as i close my locker. It is replaced with Ryans Body. " Boo!" he says calmly. I jump back. "Sh*t, Ryan... You scared me!" I whisper /yell at him. "haha your just too easy Red!" he says clutching his stomach. "Shut up! I am not.." I say pushing him away. " Are too! and do you know what time it is?" he says smirking at me. "Its time for me to kick your arse at ropes!" I say back running towards the ropes. As soon as we both get there we get in our ready positions.

"Ready?" he says.

"Set...." I say.

"GO!!" he yells.

We both run over to the ropes and jump up and climb. We climb up, hit the top, then climb down. I get to the bottom 3 seconds before he does. "HA! I beat you!" I say teasingly. " That is no fair, I just let you win simply because its your birthday." he says inching his way closer to me. "Oh? Is that so?" i say smirking at him. "mhmm." he hums now an inch away from me. we just stare at eachother getting closer and closer to each other.

"BEEP. BEEP. BEEP" The alarms go off. We jump apart.

"umm... we should.. umm.." I stutter

" Uhh.. yeah we should get going." he says scratching the back of his neck.

I chuckle and roll my eyes. "Lets just go.." i say grabbing his hand and dragging him to the meeting room.

As soon as we get in the room my other best friend Shelby comes up to us. " Hey guys!" she says in her Italian accent. she is a dirty blond pretty much light brown haired green eyed girl. She's really pretty actually everyone has eyes for her. " What do you think this is all about?" she asks

"I have no idea" I say to her.

"Hmmm... I wonder." She says rather loudly.

"Looks like we are about to find out." Ryan says pointing to my Uncle, his father, our boss.

"Hello Agents. So i found out an old timer is back and is looking for some kind of substance that can kill thousands and thousands of people, and when I say thousands and thousands i mean like the whole world..." Yup this is what I love about this guy he gets straight to the point, doesn't wait a single second. "This..." he says pointing to the screen behind him. "Is teen pop sensation Harry Styles, he is from the British boy band known as One Direction. He doesn't know it yet but he is the key to what we need," Then the picture on the screen changes to a Paper plane necklace? " And this is what the substance is held in." He finishes.

"So I need a couple of you to help me retrieve it."

I automatically stand up along with Kassandra? Kassandra also goes by the name of Kassie. She is one of my least favorite people... we do not get along. Im not gunna Blame her for everything either, we just never liked each other.. She also kinda has this huge crush on Ryan, and thinks I am getting in the way of her trying to get to him. She turns and scolds at me, i just ignore her. " Ahh, Kassie and Red. hmm.. You both are well fitted, but let me just say you do not work well together." He says chuckling to his self. "But might i say Agent K, I don't quite think this is your kind of case." she huffs and sits down. "Agent Red, i assume you and your team have got this covered." he says nodding over to us. "Yes sir i think we do." I say. "Are you sure you want this case agent?" he asks one more time. "Yes im a 100% sure sir." i say " Because this is a very dangerous case agent, and i don-" before he can finish i cut him off.

"Im not backing out sir, just because its a dangerous case." I say standing up a littler straighter

He smiles "Well, alright then. It's settled. Lets get you guys going." he clasps his hands together and walks off the stage.
