Remembering :Chapter 11

HARRYS POV:

Niall and I got agent Shelby's area first. I was kind of happy we didn't get agent Ryan first because he frightens me.

"Alright so this is a race," she starts off. "You both will be put into a pitch black room. With laser guns. Who ever finds the exit first wins. Simple as that!" She says.

"There's always a catch... What's the catch here?" Niall asks.

"Haha, smarty pants. The catch is, I will be the "enemy" and if you get shot with the laser gun I have that's minus the points for you. BUT if you shoot me that's bonus the points." She says.

"So it's like laser tag?" I ask.

"Yeah but with a little twist." She says grinning.

"A twist?" Niall says.

"A twist. Niall your going thorough this door, Harry through this door." We follow her orders. "Now remember stay alive and watch where your stepping!" She calls out. Watch where we are stepping?

"Ready? Set!"

"BEEEEEPP"

I run through the door. Dang she wasn't kidding when she said pitch black.

I turned on the laser in my hands to give me some sort of light for guidance.

I run forward pretty fast. Well, I WAS running really fast until I fell, and a laser was shot at me.

I hear a faint giggle. Shelby. Dammit.

Soon this turns into some sort of game between us. I've lost track on what we were really suppose to do. I think she had too.

I hear footsteps to my right. I Slow down on my breathing, and try to be as quiet as I can. They are coming closer. I stay still and at the right time I jump out and tackle her to the ground. We tumble and finally land to where I'm on top of her. Our laughter contagious and right when we stop you can hear nothing but our breathing. It's pitch black but I can still picture her beautiful green eyes. Wait what am I thinking I can't like her... Harry get your act together! But I can't seem to stop my self from going in.

"BEEEEEPPP"

All the lights go on.

"HAHAAA I WON!!!" I hear Nialls voice boom through the room.

Thank god cause I don't think i'd be able to stop my self. Don't get me wrong Shelby is great! But I just, don't know if I'm quite ready for any type of relationship or anything of that sort. After Alexxis' accident I don't think I could ever love again. Alexxis. She still roams in my head. I shudder remembering that day... 9 years ago...

*Flashback*

"Harrrr bear! We are going to be late! We don't want to keep everyone waiting!"

"Alright I'll be right there!" I answer back.

"Okay, Harry tonight's the big night! You can do it, you may be young but you love her. She's the one." I said to myself.

I walk down stairs and see her in a beautiful black dress. How'd I get so lucky? I remembered thinking. How?

"There you are! Let's get going!"

"Right let's go!" I say

I grab the keys to the range rover and walk out with Alexxis right behind me.

We get in the car.

"Har? You okay?" She asks.

"Yeah why wouldn't be?"

"You look like, you looked the first time

You met my parents." She giggles.

I chuckle and kiss her hand, "I'm fine love really."

"Alright." She smiles

It's quiet. But a comfortable quiet.

"Harry?"

"Yes love?"

"I love y-" Bam.

All I remember seeing was flashing lights and Alexxis' beautiful hair flowing around. It was like time was in slow motion. Everything around me was happening in a slow fashion.

I remembered thinking while getting checked out at the hospital, that I couldn't really wait to see her and see how she was doing. When the doctor told me that I could see her I sprinted out of the room. I remember walking in and seeing her beautiful face covered in cuts and bruises. That was my breaking point. I remember walking up to her bed crying my eyes out. I kissed her hand. Her oh, so delicate hand.

"Harry." I hear a faint voice call my name.

I look up and see her trying to open her eyes.

"Everything is going to be okay love I'm going to go get the doctors! I'll be right ba-"

"No. Har. No. Just promise to take care of this.. Never take it off. Promise me?"

"But everything is going to be okay. Just please stay with me."

"I'm sorry I caused you pain. Please just promise me."

"Nonono Lex please. I'm going to get them."

"I'm sorry." She says while grabbing my hand and placing her necklace in my palm. " I love you."

- End of flashback

"Harry? You okay?" Agent Shelby asks pulling me out of my trance.

"Ye-yeah why?" I ask

"Well, your kind of crying..."

I lift my hand to my cheek. Sure enough it was wet. I sigh. "I've gotta go."

I run off, but bump into something while doing so.

"Ohohoho sorry ma- Harry? You okay?" A concerned looking Niall asks

"Just peachy!" I say pushing through him. Trying to get out of this place.
