Rachel looked at the isolated road. Her eyes were filled with pain.
Was she doing the right thing?
Was she being too selfish?
All Rachel knew was that she wanted her only daughter to return.
Todd had stood with his tightened face which apparently was soon going to pour down a lot of tearlets.
Suzie, had the same expression that Rachel had years ago when she had decided to break things with Phil
This perplexed tension was making Rachel hate what she was about to do.
She drove back to phil's place and and went straight up to him ignoring her daughter who already made an escape to her father's place.
"I had once taken away your wife from you. I couldnt provide you the love that you deserved and now when I look upon these things I realize that I have no right to take away your daughter from you. Keep her and let her do what she wants, regardless of the society which once compelled me to break things with you."
Before anybody could say anything, Rachel stormed out of the house and drove back to the city without even looking at Suzie. She couldnt bear the seperation
Suzie glanced at Todd, who was consoling her father and now was still as a statue, not believing what happened.
A dawn of realization broke down.
She had left behind the luxuries just to be with someone who had less but gave her more. She was happy.
Months passed by, the seperation was inevitible
He was protected in her care
The sky turned hazel blue.
They spent million of days in a moment just to make a single mili second count.
But the end had to come
Many words remained unsaid
And the time was ephemeral. She cried late at night and wonder how life would turn out to be.
And soon it was time to bid him a final goodbye
