Chapter 9

Sebastian's POV

   After she said that I was overjoyed. I picked her up bridal style and set her back on her feet. Right when she was balanced she gave me a sweet and gentle peck on the cheek. After she did that I felt my face heat up and she also had a small blush on her face. After our little moment I walked over to the cookbook that I had laid down earlier and picked it up. I then handed it over to y/n and asked, "Are you going to help me cook this or do you want something that would make you sick?" "I will help you," She replied. Y/n then started to flip through the book until she stopped at a page, smiled and said, "Perfect." She handed me the book and I looked at the title and it read Devils Food Cake. I looked at her to see her smiling as if she had achieved something. I then asked, "Is this supposed to imply something?" "Maybe," She replied walking away to the cabinets to get the ingredients. After she was done she walked up to me and said in a mocking voice, "Is the big bad demon going to help me cook or is he going to be lazy and make me do all the work?" I looked at her with a devilish smirk on my face and replied, "Oh I don't know that is quite the decision, I could help you or I could lay here and be lazy and watch you run around cooking something." I paused for a second and said, "I think I will help you cook." She looked up at me and said, "Yay!" I went to go get a bowl and other utensils that we would need to make the cake. I walked over to her and set down the supplies that I had got. While she was measuring the amounts and putting them in the bowl, I was whisking them together. After we were done with mixing I put it in the oven and let it rise. When it was finished y/n took it out and started to ice it with chocolate frosting. We also decided to put small shreds of chocolate for a more fancy and presentable look for the young master. After that we put a slice of the cake on a saucer and put it on the silver tray with the freshly made tea that y/n had prepared. We took it up stairs to the young masters study. I knocked on the door and heard a soft enter from the master. We opened the door and I then said, "This evening you have Devils Food Cake accompanied by Black Tea to compliment the flavor." Y/n then gracefully served him his cake while I poured his tea. After we were done serving the young master I went to the kitchen to put the tray away and y/n said that she would go to our room and wait for me to help change her bandages. I went up to our room and found her only in her undergarments. I went to the bathroom and came back with the bandages and rubbing alcohol. I started to gently put some alcohol on the wounds and afterwards wrapped them. After I was done she grabbed her dress and slipped it back on. She then walked over to me and gave me a small kiss on the cheek and said, "I am going to go check on Ciel." I looked at her with disappointment visible in my eyes. She obviously noticed this and said, "Don't worry, how about after I am done we can meet up in the kitchen." My eyes instantly lit up with happiness and I replied, "Okay, but please don't make me wait too long or else I might just have to punish you again." I loved teasing y/n. She instantly flew out of the room knowing that I would be in the kitchen in less than a minute.

Your POV

   You knew that he was remarkably fast considering he was a demon. You went to Ciel's study to find him asleep yet again. You walked up to him, bent down and yelled, "WAKE UP CIEL!" He jumped up again with his face inches from yours. He started to blush and you decided to mess with him a bit. You laid a hand on his forehead and said, "Oh my, Ciel you seem to be running a fever." He backed up and sat back down and said, "No I do not." "Whatever you say Ciel," You replied with a small smirk pulling at one corner of your lips. "Anyways, I just came here to check on you and remove the leftovers of your evening tea," You said. You walked over to the edge of his desk where you found empty plates and an empty teacup. You steadied everything and Ciel said, "You are dismissed." You opened the door with your spare hand and closed it back. You went down to the kitchen to meet Sebastian and put the dishware nest to the sink. When you entered the kitchen you saw Sebastian looking at the cookbook once again. He looked over at you, smiled and said, "Just making sure you weren't going to pull my hair this time." You walked over to the sink and put the dishes next to the sink. You whipped around and said, "Well I would, but you would be expecting it so I decided against it." You walked over to him and sat on his lap. You then gave him a small kiss on the lips and took the book out of his hands and asked, "So what were you looking at?" "I was planning on you and I to make Beef Wellington with the sides of roasted asparagus, green beans, and mashed potatoes," He replied. "Wow, your getting the hang of this," You said. You set down the cookbook and dug in one of his pockets for his watch and when you found it you jumped up and said, "Well if we are to cook this then we need to get on it as soon as possible." You both started gathering everything you both needed and got to work. You made sure that you both made extra so that maybe him and you could eat.

Time skip to after both of you are done cooking

   You and Sebastian had already laid out the food and Sebastian told you to go get Ciel. You walked up to his study and opened the door to see him signing the last of his papers. He looked up at you and asked, "Is dinner ready yet?" "Yes, that is what I came up here to tell you," You answered. He got up from his chair and followed you to the dining room. Sebastian pulled out a chair for Ciel and he sat down while you listed what he was having. He took a bite of the Beef Wellington and asked, "Who made this?" Sebastian looked down at him and answered, "Me, young master is it not to your liking?" "No it is fine, and I am guessing that y/n made the vegetables," He said. "Yes," You replied. After he was done eating he got up and went to his room and told us to clean up. Once you and Sebastian were done Sebastian went up to Ciel's room to get him ready to retire. You put the dishes in the water to soak while you made some tea and made two plates of leftovers for you and possibly Sebastian if he even ate human food. You soon saw him enter the kitchen, but pretended not to notice. He came up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist and put his chin on your head. You looked up at him and asked, "Can you taste human food and drinks?" "Yes, but I don't do so regularly," He replied and let you out of his grasp. You grabbed the plate that you had made for him not long ago and asked, "Will you eat it now?"

Sebastian's POV

   "Well, sure I might as well try to fit in with your race," I said, took the plate,and then instantly regretted saying the last part. I looked at y/n and she looked disappointed. She walked over to a small table and sat down glumly with her plate of food. The kettle with hot water went off and she got up and poured two cups of hot, steaming water and added the tea and sat down, while putting mine in the empty spot in front of her. I sat down in front of her and said, "Look, I wasn't trying to insult you or any human whatsoever, it just came out wrong please forgive me." I looked at y/n in the eyes and she smiled a small smile and said, "It's fine, but please next time watch how you word things when you are around me or any other human." She then bowed her head (sorry if this offends anybody but I am a christian so yeah you kinda are in the story sorry...) and folded her hands. I was guessing that she was saying a silent prayer. I didn't interrupt her, because that is her own choice to worship God. After she was done she looked at me, smiled and asked, "You do not think differently of me do you?" "No, that is your own choice and I am in no control over what you believe and trust me I know that God exists but...never mind," I said. "Let's talk about something else, because I have a pretty good idea what you were about to say," She says. She then cut a piece of Beef Wellington in her mouth and her face seemed to brighten. "Wow, you did a wonderful job on the meat," She said with a smile. "Thank you," I said before also taking a bite of the beef. "I suppose you are right," I said. After we were done eating she yawned and went over to the sink with our dirty dishware in her hands and she set them in the water along with the other dishes and began to wash them. I went over to her and started to fry them with a dish towel. After y/n and I were done I felt a small tug on my tailcoat. I turned around and saw y/n looking tiredly up at me. I picked her up and felt her snuggle into my chest. I kissed her forehead and took her to our room and set her on our bed. "Is it okay if I dress you tonight?" I asked. She looked lazily at me with her eyes slightly wide but she replied with a simple nod of her head. I started to take off her dress, undergarments, and everything else she had on. I went over to my drawer and slipped one of my shirts over her head. It covered all the way to her mid thighs. I started to undress and stopped when I found her starring at me, blushing. I simply continued and changed into my pajamas and went to the other side of the bed and got under the covers. Y/n did the same. She then snuggled into my chest for extra warmth. I wrapped one of my hands around her waist and drifted off to sleep with her.

Okay I am sorry if anybody was offended by the prayer and God being mentioned, but I am a Christian and I am not afraid to put that in my stories. I am not really Catholic or Methodist or anything, but I go to a Nondenominational Church. If you do not know what that is then it is like bits and pieces of all of the denominations and welcome anybody that believes in God and would be considered Christian. I am terribly sorry if I offended anybody. I truly don't mean to and just because that was in there doesn't mean that you have to stop reading it. It is not my business if you are atheist or anything. Anyways I will be updating a bit more than normal, because of the harsh weather. They may not be long, because I cannot charge my computer if the power goes out, but I can use my phone and charge it in the car. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day or night!
