A Dark Love

Chapter 5

   Sorry for the late update but I really have tried. I started writing this at 2:06 A.M. and my friend StaryTeller1227 is staying over at my house and we have both been helping each other with our books today so I would like to thank her and give her credit to some parts in this chapter.

Your POV

       I awoke to the sound of rustling in the hallway. I got up and opened the door slowly to find Sebastian kneeling on one knee with a small black kitten in his arms. He looked quite happy actually, considering that he is a demon and all. 

     "Wow," I thought ,"I knew he must have some kind of weakness but I never thought that it would be cats and kittens." He looked over at me and held a guilty expression on his face like he had just committed a crime or something. 

     He stood up with the kitten in his arms and said,"I am very sorry if I woke you, but well you see the young master doesn't allow cats in the manor because he is allergic and one of my cats managed to run out of my room and I had to come and get it before the young master saw." "It's fine," I replied with a tired smile. "Is it alright if she stays in your room, she is a bit too troublesome to be kept in my room and I must wake the young master." "Of course," I reply. "Wonderful," He said and walked over to you and gently set the small kitten in your arms and walked away. 

     I gently closed the door as to not wake anybody and walked to my bed and sat the kitten down at the end of the bed. I got a plain f/c dress out of the closet  along with heels, stockings, and gloves that come to my wrist. 

    After I was done getting dressed I walked out of the room and to the kitchen where I found Sebastian reading a cookbook. "Do you want me to help you?" I ask politely and he replied with a simple nod of his head. "What do you need help with if I may ask?" He slams the book down on the counter and exclaimed,"Everything!" 

     I walked over to him and softly patted his back and said, "You will get the hang of it with some practice, trust me." I then explained the basics of cooking and showed him a few recipes and left him to make something himself.

     I walked in the dinning room and saw Ciel waiting patiently for his food to be served to him. He looked at you and said,"I need to discuss something with you, please come sit," I sat diagonally from him and he then asked,"Would you become a maid of this manor?" "Sure, as long as I am clothed, have someplace to stay, and is well fed, then yes I will gladly become a maid of this manor." "Wonderful and you will also have to teach Sebastian things about housework and lawn work and just about all work in general, because it seems to me all he knows how to do is kill," He said. "I can do that I think, but he will need to teach me how to fight properly, I might have escaped him before but that was just pure luck," You said. "I will inform him of that later," He replied.

   Sorry if it isn't long and I know nothing really happened but it is still an update. Thank you all for being patient. StoryTeller1227 came up with the kitten part. I'm really tired so now I'm going to publish this and go to sleep. I finished this chapter at 3:00 A.M.
