Chapter 12 darkness

Renae's P.O.V cont...

I saw blood first then my brother's screaming voice and Lukas holding on to him shouting his name , then came a voice out of Jays mouth "thus shall darkness enter the heart and  soul , let him love but remember that darkness lingers under the skin. let him feel for war is coming and death not far behind, darkness is  his true self . let him be happy for when the time comes  he shall  know nothing of love or happiness"  as soon as the voice disappeared did  my brother slumped and didn't wake up.

Lukas -

What the hell happened whose the voice? what does the voice mean let him love? what war? so many questions and no time. I laid Jay on his bed and watched him sleep, he looked so peaceful why does he have to suffer so much? "Renae? what happened?" I turn to Jay's sister but she looked as shocked as I am " I - I have no idea" she whispered. I sigh and mind linked someone to clean up the blood so I could go talk to the pack doctor. "shane he is in pain I know it not only physically but mentally"  shane the pack doctor was young and mated to a women whose temper is short. "well let me talk to him once he wakes up" mm "ok, how long?" I looked worriedly at Jay. "not long sir, he should wake by lunch tomorrow" ugh a whole day " thank you, you may go now" she nods and leaves and we all wait to see what happens.

JAY P.O.V

I slept soudly like nothing happened and felt as though all anger and hate left. I knew I felt different like a new person but also like something lingers waiting to come back.  I slept for who knows how long at least that was what it felt like, but I woke up to the sun on my face. I sit up rubbing my eyes looking around confused "where I am I?" a girl walked in "oh Jay you're awake!" she shouted "um, yeah" she looked at me confused "you do remember who I am?" ............"Renae?" I said confusedly "yes!" she ran to me and hugged me "im glad you're ok" there was a stretch of silence and "um, I have no idea what you're talking about I was just sleeping" she looked as if I told her I grew wings over night "you don't remember anything?" I shake my head "how about derek?" she looked ready to apologize "who?" .............."how about your past"....................."nope" okay this was weird what is with all these questions? "um is Alpha Lukas here?" I ask  "uh, yeah hold on" she walked to the door and opened it and a man comes in "hey Jay" and then I felt something I haven't In a while the pull " y-y-you a-r-e my mate" I cant believe that I stuttered at first..............................he looked at me with a shocked expression.. "yes I am" He sounded like he was bracing for the worse which made me confused "you're not happy that I am your mate" I look down to my hands , I knew he wouldn't be happy I mean come on we just met....right?  "of course I am happy that you are my mate it was you who wasn't" Lukas said I looked at him with confusion "what?? I only just met you to seconds ago!!" I almost yell. What the hell? these people need to get their priorities straight! "so, what do we do now?" I ask, but Lukas just stood their as if thinking over things. "you're telling me that you have no clue  what happened over the past few months?" he asked looking confused "yeah, but hey it's nice to meet you and all" I climb off the bed and walk to the door "wait, what about the man .....?" I turn around "i have no clue what you are talking about, but I am going to go practice with my band with bree and the gang" I walk off  downstairs and to a room that we used to practice.

Lukas P.O.V

ok out of all my years as a werewolf and to the werewolves who lived before me I can now say what the fuck just happened. in these few months I find a mate, he can sing, he shifts into a rare white tiger, he was abused and separated form his sister, he does self-harm but doesn't talk about it, he has nightmares every night and for unknown reason starts spewing out words that are coming from someone not him. now he acts as if he is happy  and has a normal life, or is it really the fact that he has no memory  of what his life was in the few months maybe even years? i'll play along, get to know my mate more and start a relationship hopefully and then move to being bonded mates. I walk down the stairs and spot his sister Renae "yeah he has no memory but happy ones like he has a mate, a sister and a band. apparently he does not remember what happened to him at all we need to keep a close eye on him if anything happens" Renae nodded her head in agreement.  

Third person P.O.V

Lukas felt something later that day, something dark inside his mind, but it wasn't his he was feeling but from his mate. it was unheard of a werewolf knowing what their mate is thinking or feeling before bonding, but it seemed to be the case right now. He felt the darkness at the back of the mind, a lingering shadow and growing slowly as id it was ready to consume Jay in darkness for ever.
