*Caroline's POV*

After getting out of school, I drove straight to the grill. He has serious explaining to do. The thing is, I'm not sure if I want to know what he's doing. Klaus could be planning some scary stuff, and if that's what I'm in for...

I took my mind off those thoughts as I arrived to the grill. I was sort of hoping he might not show up and I wouldn't have to face him. Last time we talked I found out something that maybe I didn't want to know, and I had a feeling that was only the beginning.

As I stepped into The Grill, I spotted Klaus at a booth towards the back of the restaurant. It was quiet back there, and it would be more private. Klaus was sitting there looking stunning as usual. His hair was back and away from his face, and his blue eyes were brighter than usual. Perfect I sarcastically said in my mind. It's going to be even harder to resist him when he's looking like that!

"Hello, Caroline."

He said my name in a drawn out way.

"Hi, Klaus."

I walked towards him and he motioned me to take a seat.

As I sat down I opened up my menu to avoid making eye contact with him. There was silence for about a minute but he stared at me the entire time making it seem like a millennium. I finally looked up towards him and he smiled.

"So are we going to talk, or are you going to avoid me this whole time?" He said.

I set down my menu and sighed.

"Fine, what do you have to say."

I sounded sort of rude when I said that, and I almost felt like apologizing, but I stopped myself. He doesn't deserve my apologies.

"Well why don't you start with some questions. I'll answer any questions you have"

Suddenly a waiter appeared asking to take our orders. You could tell she was flirting with Klaus, she wouldn't stop eyeing him either. I don't blame her, I mean he's gorgeous. Klaus didn't seem to notice, he had his focus on me. I kept myself from smiling but I had an urge. I ordered myself an iced tea and Klaus ordered a water. As the waiter walked away I asked my first question.

"Why didn't you tell me you were a-" and them i whispered quietly, "vampire."

Klaus took in a deep breath before replying.

"I wanted to have a chance with you before you judged who I was just because of who I am."

He looked sincere which saddened me because what he also felt for me was real. It wasn't a joke. Which made it harder to forget the feelings I started to develop for him.

I quickly asked the second question to get my mind off my emotions.

"How long have you known about me?"

Klaus paused as if trying to figure out his answer. Them replied, "The first day of school."

His face looked serious but there was something off.

I nodded my head then asked, "What sacrifice are you planning?"

"Caroline, can we talk about this another time?"

Can we talk about this another time?! Ummm NO! Why was he holding back information?!"

"No, tell me now or I'm leaving."

I furrowed my eyebrows and pursed my lips.

Klaus sighed a heavy sigh then shrugged his shoulders.

"I want to complete the sacrifice to trigger my werewolf side. My mother had an affair with a werewolf and I was born half werewolf. My mother put me under a spell, to make my werewolf side dormant. Then, when I was a teenager she turned me and my family into vampires using a spell, and with that the vampire species was creat-"
