Intro

Luke's POV

Flash Back (8 years ago)
I was sat on a swing in the old abandoned park, a few blocks away from my house. It was my get away. Nobody had come to the park in years as it closed down and the only way to get in is through a gap in the gate.

As I was sitting on the swing I noticed a beautiful blonde girl standing at the gate, she looked about the same age as me. She was wearing a little white dress with matching white socks with frilly socks on and had a big blue bow in her hair.

"Hey you on the swing come here, please," she says, while holding onto the bars of the gate. I couldn't refuse to walk over so I jump off my swing and walk towards the rusty old gate.
"How did you get in there?" She questions me. I tell her I came from a gap in the gate while specifically pointing the gap. "Do you mind if i come join you," she asks and I shake my head and walk back to my swing with the blonde girl following, without moving my eyes from the ground.

"You don't talk much do you?" She asks and I shake my head. "You talk too much," I say barely audible. She replies with, "I get told that all the time but in my opinion if we have a voice we might as well use it, no offence."
"Non taken," I reply. "Okay, well what is your name shy boy?" She asks. "I'm Luke," I look up from the ground to the blonde girl, noticing that she had beautiful shade of light blue eyes. "I'm Aqua short for Aquamarine, nice to meet you Luke," she says with a smile beaming across her face. "Your name suits you, your eyes sparkle like an aquamarine gem, it's beautiful," I say making her blush. She returns a thank you and grabs my hand.

We spent the rest of the day at the park laughing, playing and building a friendship. I had never met anyone like her.

Eight years have passed, I'm now 17 and have changed a lot but the one thing that hasn't changed is that the little blonde girl is still on my mind. I never saw her after that day, I only wish that I got to spend more time with her.
