The Perfect Family

Chapter 5: Rosa

I woke up gasping for air. I had another horrible nightmare. Ugh when are these stupid nightmares going to end? As I go to get ready I hear a knock on the door, I decided to open since last time somebody opened the door i've felt different. Rosa comes in my room and says they need you downstairs. I finished getting ready and headed downstairs.

Funny how the first person I see is him. He stares at me and winks. I passed through him and noticed his eyes following me around. Mrs.Stuart was announcing their was a new member in the family, not that she's pregnant she thinks of all of us that work here a family, which I think that's good. A grown man comes in, Mrs.Stuart says that Mr.Elderson will be working in the garden. The garden is my favorite part of the house. It's huge with so many flowers and so many beautiful colors.

When the small meeting was over I looked at Rosa and she smiled, I didn't know if she was married but I thought her and Mr.Elderson will make a perfect match. As I was walking out for my break Tyreen was there, it looked as like he was waiting for somebody. I went the other way because I didn't want something to happen again.

Rosa comes from behind me and says, "Tyreen?"

I looked at her confused.

She then says,"The way he looked at you when he entered the room, tell me you think he's handsome right?"

I started to laugh,"He's not bad looking." I didn't want her to think I was drooling over him or something.

Rosa started telling me, "Tyreen he's more like a son to me, when they left to Hawaii, I worked here. I used to bring him to school, you know because I was younger and better looking. But I know how he is and don't fall for him besides he has a girlfriend."

When she told me he had a girlfriend, I knew I had to ignore him because it was the right thing to do. But why will he kiss me if he had a girlfriend? Ugh maybe he just wants to use me. Maybe he was on something and his mind was all over the place. Somehow I was disappointed in myself. 

Rosa then said,"Layla are you listening to me?"

I looked at Rosa and said,"I have to go!"

I walked as fast as I can to my room. I wanted to see my Mother and tell her how I felt. My amazing Mother how much I miss her and Romeo.
