Flowey sulked by himself in the flower bed at the beginning to the ruins, his head drooping. He barely noticed the light foot steps behind him. He felt something soft pet his head. He grunted, twisting around to see...her.
"Oh, hey kid." He sighed, turning back around.
She quietly hugged Flowey, petting him again. His expression softened. Damn this kid. He'd think. Frisk sat neatly beside him, folding her legs. She gazed up at the hole, the one she had fallen through a long time ago, seeing sunset shine just beyond it. Flowey blinked at her.
"Why are you looking at it like that?" He almost hissed. "There's no need, you're never going back."
Frisk simply shrugged, still staring at the sky.
"Stupid, stupid girl." Flowey growled. "You've learned nothing from our heated encounters."
Frisk shrugged again, making Flowey retort with a sigh.
"You know," Flowey began. "I...never mind."
Frisk scooted closer to Flowey laying down beside him.
"This kid..." Flowey sighed. "This kid..."
Frisk yawned, stretching her arms outward. She sat back, arms behind her, still staring up.
"Look brat, if you're going to sit around and watch a hole for the rest of your life, be my guest." He grumbled.
Frisk leaned over, hugging Flowey tight.
"Eugh..." Flowey murmured in the kids embrace. "Let go.."
Frisk sat there, hugging Flowey until she drifted off.
"Night...kid..." Flowey whispered, settling into Frisk's arms.

[Asriel: I needed to do something short and sweet with Flowey and Frisk to make my friend (real friend) happy.]
