CHAPTER 8

(Adams POV)

"Adam!!!" Maddy screamed and giggled as she jumped onto my bed.

i groaned and sat up looking to the overly happy 4 year old grinning at me.

"Maddy, what time is it?" i groaned again and watched as maddys face dropped slightly and tears filled her baby dark brown eyes.

"i s- sawwy a- adam." she sniffled saddly and i felt my heart break.

"No im sorry maddy. i didnt mean to sound rude, im just tired thats all!" i tryed to exsplain myself and cure maddys sadness. it worked because her arms we around my neck huging me in seconds. as i hugged her small body back i looked to the time, 7:02am, damn.

"mommy made breakfast and said when you is done getting ready for school theres food downstairs!" maddy said happyily as she squirmed off my bed and ran out the open door.

sighing and rubbing my eyes i heaved my self up and into the bathroom. shuffleing into the walk in shower i paused and looked into the mirror. my refelction was a horror wirth dark bags under my eyes and my hair looked like a ratsnest. sighing once more i stepped into the shower and rinced my horrid reflection away. 

"Adam!!" mrs. k yelled from downstairs, i switched off the water, wrapped a towl around my waist and walked to my room quickly.

"Yes Mrs. K?" i yelled back, while pulling on my boxers and a pair of red skinnys. lacing a white belt thru the loops of my jeans i looked to the time, 7:19, i still have 30 minuets till i have to be at school. steping into the hall i walked down to the kitchen to a smileing Mrs.K and maddy, along with a stranger i didnt know.

"Adam! Oh, Adam, uhm, were is your shirt?" Mrs. K asked while looking away nervously, i simply shrugged and laughed slightly, not looking away from the stranger.

"i didnt wanna put one on yet, uh, who are you?" i directed towards the stranger he looked up at me with a sly smile and opened is mouth to speek but was cut off by Mrs. k.

"ADAM! that is no way to speak to a guest!" she  said a tad annoyed with me, i wasnt suprised, everyone is annoyed with me after a while, thats why my parents are always out of town.

"Sorry." i said and looked down taking a seat across from the sranger, keeping my eyes down i heard a apologetic sigh from Mrs.K.  A Raspy Voice cut into my thoughts casuing me to look up.

"My names Detective Brown. im looking itno the wolf attacks around this area, and i have been told by a annomous sourse that you may know what im talking about?" he asked a quetion but he wasnot asking. he knew something. and that chilled me to the bone. 

"Sorry to disappoint you, but i dont know anything of the sort." i spoke with a strong tone and was sure to keep eye contact, but i felt the heat when he began to write stuff down in his little note book.

"Okay thats all i needed to know. thanks Mrs. Kinsley, Mr. Ryder, Madaliah." he tipped his hat to all of us before walking out the door. my eyes glared at the floor, before somthing clicked. no one called maddy madalliah anymore, not since she was 3 or 4 months, and if hes new to the case then.. somethings not right..

"Adam its okay i pinky promise" maddy said holding her pinky out to me. i laced my pinky with hers and at the same time as her said 'you break the promise i break your pinky!'. maddy giggled and ate the rest of her pop tart. as i threw a random band tee on the door bell rang and i knew who it was by there smell. 

"Chance is here so ill be headin out!" i shouted to mrs. k who i assumed was in her office researching this new  'detective brown' character. i heard something along the lines of okay, be good, have fun, stay safe love you bye, from the office and smiled,  kissing mady on the head i headed out meetong chance,

"We need to talk," we both said at the same time as we got in his truck, me being the lesser of the pack to chance, nodded for him to continue

"You may be a Lower class, and i may be a alphas son, but you can still speak to me like were  normal Adam." he laughed "Besides when im alpha youll be beta!" he said happily i smiled at his quirkyness and remebered  The detective.

"Can you ask your dad to call a pack meetinng to day? i heard there is a new detective on this wolve attack case, and yeah..." i spoke softly scared i was being watched by Detective brown,

"You were visited by that scum to eh? i vote we ask the rest of the pack at school first and see if they got a visit, ask some humans, figure out if hes only asking were's or everyone.." he said, thinking out loud more than talking to me, i simply nodded and unfasened my seat belt as we pulled into the school parking lot,

"Theres Matthew," Chance said a tad annoyed, 

"And theres Alice" i said as my heart shattered as i watched her talking to matthew, my wolf whined and clawed to be with alice but i shushed him walked into school with out glacing at anyone. slipping my ear buds in i blared music and walked into my class. sitting at the back of the room i kept my head down scared my eyes would give my anger away.

"Adam," 

I smelt her before i saw her and i was struggling to keep my wolf down now as he howled in disgust louder then the blairing music.

"Yes Victoriaa?" i asked taking my head phones out. put not lookin up as my nose twitched with the sweet smell of Alice walking in the room.

"Your Sooo Sexy and if you want a good time call me up, becasue trust me alice wont be enough for you i mean just ask matthew, he came to m-" she was cut off my voice, that i struggled to keep low and calm

"Victoriaa, Alice is the perfectest girl on this planet, matthew is a deciving twat, who knows nothing, never in my entire life would i consider you" my voice had risen up into a slight yell as i clenched my teeth

"what ever emo you and that slut bag alice can have a fun time swaping aids!" she yelled, i could tell she was angry, but her words pissed me off to the extreme, considering that Alice could hear everything that was being said. i reached out and grabbed Victoriaas wrist and turned her around.

"Talk bad about alice ever again, and it will be the last time you ever talk." i said my voice deadly low, but i knew alice still herd me.Victoriaa yanked her arm free and rubbed her wrist as she walked away from me frightened

"Freak" she shouted angrily as she stormed from the room. followed by her minions.

"Adam, I--" 

i cut alice off by standing up abruptly and walking out of class, in the oppisite direction of Victoriaa.

'The Woods.' my wolf basically yelled, i walked out the back doors of school and sprinted towards the woods,  once concealed by trees i changed into a somewhat tall and lean black wolf.

'Adam, What are you doing were are you?' Chances voice echoed in my head

i decide on not replying and just running, running untill my wolf gave out running untill i was jelly. running untill,

A shotgun blast echoed in my ears.

OKAAAAAAY soooo, i decided since i have to babysit my baby brother the rest or july i will be posting a lot more,  sooo i need ideas, any ideas are welcome and i realy would appriceiate them.

also please tell me what yall think and if yall like these longer chapters or the shorter ones better.

and do you like me swiching pov's alot or should i stick to just one persons pov, if so who!!
