Long ago, the two Gods Hephaestus and Aphrodite had a son named Hamen. He had red hair that looked like fire and bright green eyes. Since Hephaestus was the  God of fire and blacksmiths, he wanted to teach Hamen all he knew. He would take Hamen to Mt. Aetna, where he worked and would teach him. Hephaestus would teach Hamen how to meld and make weapons with the fire.

One day Hamen was watching the humans like he always did when he was bored, but he noticed something. He saw that the humans were cold and freezing in the winter at night. They just seemed misserable. Then he noticed that the humans were eating raw meat! That was just disgusting! They to cook their food. "I know!" Hamen thought, "Since father is the god of fire, I'll just ask him for some. Let's just hope he agrees with me."

Author's note: So this is my first story! It's a myth I wrote in school, but I doubt anyone will read it tbh heh heh. I know this part is short, but there may be longer parts. I'm not sure. If you do read, enjoy!
