That night Hamen went to Mt.Atena to steal the fire, he was careless. He just waltzed right in the steaming mountain. Hamen then saw where the fire was. It was hidden right behind a gigantic boulder. He could see the orange, red, glow of it, and he could hear it crackling. Hamen rounded the corner of the rock and stared at the fire in a daze. All of a sudden he heard a noise and the shuffling of feet! Hamen looked around the rock and saw Hepaheastus. His angry father looked at him with fire in his eyes. (Unintentional pun lol) "Hamen!" Hephaestus yelled with so much rage his veins were about to burst.  "How dare you steal fire from a god! Especiallt your own father!" Hamen broke into a cold sweat even though it was a million degrees in the mountain. "I-I swaer I wasn't going to father!" Hamen cried. "Then tell me why you here Hamen." Hephaestus said calmly but deadly. "I-I d-don't" Hamen stammered. "So youre a liar and a theif." His father countered. "I will banish you from this mountain and keep you from working with me." Hephaestus had mae up his mind. He locked Hamen int o a dungeon cell and left him to do nothing.

It was hopeless Hamen was stuck in the cold, dark, and gloomy cell. If Hamen got any bright ideas of escaping there were two gaurds at his cell. While he was sitting in his cell bored out of his mind, a snake slithered in through the bar doors. The Serpent was green with black spots. It watched him and hissed. Hamen looked surprised, but then sighed. "If you're here to kill me you can't. I'm a god." "No no young god. I'm not here to kill you. I've been sssssent by Hadessss to help you." "Oh great, now I'm going crazy." He sighed. "No, I really have been sssent by Hadesss." The snake hissed with its forked tounge. "He wantsss you to sssteal the fire and give it to the humansss." "I already tried that if you haven't noticed." Hame said bothered. "Well Hadess did sssend you the Helm of Darknessss. It turnsss you invissible." The snake whispered. After the snake said that, a black cloak appeared on the ground. hamen snatcehd the cloak and put it on. Instantly he turned invisible. "I guess it wouldn't hurt to try agian." Hamen replied. "I already took out the gaurds and unlocked the bars. This time be careful." The snake hissed out as it slithered away.
