When we got downstairs mama Shana was waiting and she asked where we wanted to have breakfast and I looked up at Devin "it's your choice " he said "IHOP?" "Let's go" We got in the car and drove to IHOP and mama Shana told Devin to call her when we were ready. We walked in and the hostess seated us in a booth across from one another and I put my purse down and started looking over the menu and I see Devin looking at me over the top of his menu. "What?" I say laughing "Nothing ." He says looking at his menu I kick him playfully and look at my menu once I decided i put it down and looked at him , wow last week I was watching him on you now and listening to TBD's music in class and now I'm at breakfast with Devin . I feel like I should tell him how I feel about him, but I don't want it to seem like I'm using his dad, or him and at the same time I need to focus on what I came to Jersey to do. No matter who my producer is. He catches me looking at him just when the waitress comes over "Hey I'm Kathy I'll be your server today how are you guys this morning?" "Good." We both say in semi unison "What can I get you guys to drink?" "I'll have orange juice ." I say "Apple and were ready to order." Says Devin "Sure what can I get you guys ?" "I'll have and bacon and cheese omelet with a pancake and grits." I say passing her my menu "I'll have a two pancakes bacon and grits." "Alrighty I'll put these in now." She said grabbing the menus and walking away "So what's it feel like to not be in school anymore?" "It's kind of weird, because some days when we're not that busy I'm just stuck in the house and I still have to do 4/5 hours of school." "I've been wanting to be home schooled for a while I've never been a big fan of school, if my career goes anywhere with you guys then I should be." I said smiling "Yeah everyone seems to be worried about whether or Kev, Dani, and I will keep or friends and I to stay positive but it does seem like we'll lose some friends." He said looking out the window then at me "well if there your friends and they understand how hard you work they be there kev is still friends with dean and hey , if they're not they didn't deserve it in the first place." I said smiling matter of factly he chuckled and smiled at me too.
