We all piled into momma shana's van and lexi and daniel, rode with grandma and grandpa gordon, who took the gizzy gear so we actually had room to spread out so jazzy and i sat in the first row and devin and kevin sat in the back. I took a picture on snapchat that Kevin happily photo bombed from the second row. I laughed and posted the picture with the ' 🙄' emoji and i laughed and stuck my tongue out at kevin.
The car stopped and I instantly hopped out and looked up at the sign above us
"Rockwood Music Hall" it read , devin came up to me and grabbed my hand "don't think about it now, lets grab the boxes." he kissed my cheek and i walked towards his grandparents SUV just as grandpa gordon was getting out of the car to pop the trunk. devin and i grabbed two boxes, and jazzy came and got the last one.
"Dev show lani the setup for the table i want jazzy to do something for me with the lights.'' momma shana said Kevin and Daniel had just dragged in the unfolding table for the Merch. Kevin and Daniel opened the table and pulled the legs out and i grabbed the middle and flipped it to stand it up "thanks Daniel.'' i said fist bumping him "so your going to act like i wasnt here?" Kevin said narrowing his hazel eyes at me."you shouldn't have photo bombed my picture in the car." i said laughing hugging him as he over dramatically pouted.
Mr.star called Daniel and Kevin outside to unload some emergency back up speakers, and Devin started to show me the way the Merch table was to be set up, but not before Dev got frisky.
i went behind the table to start placing out the bucket hats after I lined out the crayon gizzy tees and i felt Devin poke my butt with something, "Devin stop poking me with foreign objects " i said counting out the hats as i pulled them out " you aren't foreign to this objects babygirl." he said, as it still poked my butt cheek, 😳 realizing what it was I tried to stand up and move over before i could move Devin grabbed my waist. " don't run from it" he said trying to be seductive " you better let go of me " i said laughing at him i slapped with a bucket hat and he let me go.
" one day you really won't be able to run from it" he said walking away from the table and leaving me to finish setting up. Boys . The older the hornier man .
Mamma Nicole brought Shari, Mariah, jaiden, and skylar to the venue with dunkin for everyone. "Thank you momma Nicole ." I said walking up to Mariah to get skylar. "Hey sky how are you baby boy ?" Skylar smiled at me and took off towards the stage I chased him and lifted him onto it, and then acted like I couldn't keep up. He hid in he curtain. "Dani where's sky ?" I said to Daniel who was sitting backstage, out of the comer of my eye I could see him sticking his head out. " I don't know but if he isn't found soon I guess I'll eat his doughnut." Daniel said shrugging his shoulders. I walked up behind skylar and grabbed the curtain making him laugh "gotcha !" I said as I swooped him up into my arms and tickled him . "Dohnut" skylar said tugging on my hand when I put him down. "Alright let get your doughnut." He grabbed my hand and I helped him down the stairs of the stage and got him a regular glazed doughnut to eat while he sat in my lap and I drank my coolata. Momma Nicole brought me skylarks sippy cup with his milk in it so he could wash down his doughnut and I let him watch Curious George on my phone while I snagged a doughnut and finished off my drink.
"Alright guys lets move the leftover doughnuts back stage and move the tables the fans should be here soon." Momma Nicole said grabbing Skylar to clean his face up of its glaze crumbs. Daniel helped me space some table out to the perimeters of the room and then Kevin took the doughnuts backstage 🤔 never to be seen again. "Alright hop on stage we got soundcheck we don't have time for a full set run through so one song from everyone. Lexi go" I sat down and everyone else grabbed a seat too, sitting down everywhere to practice with the DJ and make sure there music was ready for the set. Angel and Sassy came with Lexi, and Shari's dancers Marc and Tony were Shari's dancers and Nae and Lesli were Lexi's dancers
"goodmorning girlie" angel said said she adjusted her bag on her side "good morning guys , theres dunkin backstage if you guys are hungry " i said as i hugged sassy and they greeted everyone else lexi went through her song 'Trust' since it had the most choreography and she was done pretty fast.Shari went through 'One Dance' with Marc and Tony since that had the most choreography for her. I started dancing in my seat with Mariah and singing the lyrics of the song to her as we goofed off, and jaiden hopped up and started dramatically singing with Shari making her laugh while singing. Everybody started laughing and Mr. Star caught his breath and called me up to the stage. Of course I went through 'Runnin' Angel and Sassy kept up because of course they were amazing. I summed up the final lyrics before we started the big piece of choreo where the music was fading out. I feel like I got this.
