She wakes up to her alarm blaring In The End by Black Veil Brides in her ear. Slowly, she rolls out of bed and grabs the first pair of shorts she sees along with her favorite band tee. Without a second thought Riley turns her music up louder and heads to the bathroom for a shower. There's no point in waking anyone up, both of her parents are already at the café. In fact they probably have been there since 6:30 this morning. Whereas they don't need her to work until 10am. Giving Riley plenty of time to wake up, shower, and prepare herself for the day.
After the shower she gets a text from Aaron asking to meet up before work. He's Riley's best friend and she wouldn't know where she would be without him. She replies with a short response telling him to meet up at the café. Of course he agrees so she grabs a pop tart, puts her converse on, and heads out the door, grabbing her skateboard along the way.
As she rolls down the street she notices a large crowd and quite a few vans, they look almost like trailers. There's a large load of lights and props too. Riley begins to wonder what that's all for.
Before Riley knows it she's at the café and Aaron is waiting at one of the outside tables. She smiles and wave to him and he waves back. It's a surprise that he doesn't have a girlfriend. Every girl back in school fawned over him and his blond hair, he's a ladies man for sure. She sits down and they talk for a short while before Riley's mom notices the two of them are there and calls them to start working early. Apparently whoever brought this crowd in has made the café overly busy.Nicole just landed in this town and she's already getting to work, she starts filming in about 10 minutes for a new Hollywood movie along side her very famous co-star Mitch.
It's cold outside and she is currently wearing jeans, a gray top, and a black leather jacket. One of her close movie assistants, Angela-Marie, is trying to warm Nicole up by rubbing her arms while also trying to touch up a little spot on her makeup.
Soon it's time to start the first scene in which Nicole's girl is first introduced as she is walking down the street trying to be as secretive as she can and trying to catch a criminal: she's a secret agent. This is probably Nicole's favorite movie ever. Especially since this is the biggest movie hit she's ever had. It's a wonderful opportunity and the town is really pretty too.
After shooting the scene, the director Adam Codwell, tells the cast and crew that they can have a two hour break to get warmed up, eat, and maybe catch up on a quick nap. After listening to the director and not thanking him for the break Nicole walks over to Mitch Manning.
She talks to her co-star and tells him how she is going to the nearest coffee shop. Then Nicole makes her way over to her agent Camil Lindoren. Nicole needs to talk to her about leaving set to grab a drink. But she feels as though this won't be such a good chat considering Camil always wants to follow Nicole around, everywhere. She doesn't mind it. She loves Cam but she would kill for quality time by herself to grab a coffee before having to go back to work.
"Hey Cam. . ." Nicole smiles a little tilted. The nervous habit will no doubt give her away. Now Cam will definitely knows she means business.
"What darling, you look like you're about to get yourself into trouble" Cam laughs. Nicole chuckles a little at her response and sense of humor. She was always Nicole's favorite.
"Well Cam. . .I was just heading out to get a look at the town and grab a coffee somewhere close, is that okay?" Nicole asks Cam. Nicole's eyes look more pleading than her own words. Cam crosses her arms, smiles, and makes her 'let me think about it for a moment' face. Nicole internally groans at the gesture.
"Sure. Be back before the hour and a half is over. Because that's all you have babe." Cam says and smiles.
Nicole is quick to embrace her tightly. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! I won't be late!" She says and grabs her phone and some money from her purse. Nicole starts jogging out of set and yells, "Promise!" She waves back to Cam as she leaves. Cam gives Nicole a thumbs up, rolls her eyes, and grabs her clipboard from the set chair as she starts walking towards the director. Nicole truly does love everything Cam has done for her.
After walking for about 10 minutes and making some stops to glance into stores from the outside window. Nicole took some pictures of cute places around the town That she thought were cute.
What looks to be a coffee shop or café catches her eye. Nicole makes her way to Riley's café and looks inside of the front windows. It looks beautiful in the café. She pushes the front door open and sees there's a pretty good amount of customers in the café. For a split second Nicole almost forgets that she's famous. She puts her sunglasses on and hides her face a little bit. Nicole looks around and thankfully no one at the café recognizes her. . .yet. Let's hope it stays that way. All Nicole wants is some peace right now.
She walks to the cash register where the menu is displayed on the wall. The café has to be the most adorable café she has ever been in before.
