Riley and Aaron sit at the pond until the sun is gone beyond the horizon. After waiting a short while longer with their feet wading in the water Aaron decides they should get home. Riley agrees with him and they head out of the meadow clearing and back through the path in the trees. Aaron and Riley split at the fork in the road. Her house leads up to the top of the hill. Aaron's house is closer to the café. They say their goodbyes one last time and split ways.
After Riley is out of sight Aaron walks near the diner and as he's getting ready to turn on to his road Aaron sees a shadowy figure. As he looks closer he notices it's the girl from the café so Aaron decides to call out to her. "Hey!"

Once Nicole got coffee all over her outfit, the crew made her change into another outfit: a white spaghetti strap, deep V-neck cropped top and a grey, high waisted wrap skirt. She was also told to get an extra set of clothes from her dressing room where she was currently keeping all her luggage. But now the luggage is in her hotel room not far from set or that coffee shop. Actually it's pretty close to the coffee shop.
It was already getting dark due to the sun going down but it's still quite hot out. . .obviously, it's summer. Nicole walks to her hotel. . .at least that's what she keeps telling herself. She actually was hoping to run into something or someone and not have to get to her hotel room fast and do absolutely nothing. Suddenly, she hears someone yelling "Hey!" and a very tall muscular looking figure comes from around the corner. She has a look of confusion at first, thinking maybe it's a fan or something or maybe it wasn't even addressed to her. Nicole decides to look down and keep walking to where the man is because that's the way to the hotel. She tries to ignore him because it would be embarrassing if he wasn't talking to her.
Aaron notices that the girl walks closer to where he's at but she keeps her head down as if trying to avoid him. Deciding to try again when she's almost next to him, Aaron calls out again. "Hey" He smiles trying to elicit a response from her. It finally clicks once she's close to him that he is indeed talking to Nicole. She stops and thinks for a minute, trying to remember where she's heard the voice before. Nicole looks up and is surprised to see the guy from the coffee shop that she ran out on standing in front of her. Oh man. Small world well, small town. She thinks to herself.
"Me?" Nicole asks with her eyes wide and taking a step back so she doesn't completely run into him. Aaron laughs at her cluelessness before nodding his head. "Of course, do you see anyone else out at this hour?" He questions as he motions his arms around to encompass the small town's street. Nicole laughs at him. "I guess not Mr. Coffee Shop. . ." She smiles and trails off as she looks down at the floor again, a little shy all of a sudden. Nicole is never as shy as she has been in this moment. She's usually the outgoing and bright type of person most of the time.
"I'm Aaron" He says and holds his hand out for her to shake.
"A pleasure to meet you Aaron" Nicole says shaking his hand giggling a little. She struggles over her words as she tries to tell him her name. "My name is uh.. My name. . ." She rambles a little trying to find words but with no luck. She doesn't want him to recognize her name.
"Did you forget your name?" Aaron asks curiously at her mumbling.
"Uhm. . .No it's just. . .Never mind. . ." She internally groans, she's messing up so hard but it's so hard to trust people when she's well known around the world. She decides to through it all out the window. What could hurt? "My name is Nicole" She smiles to him. "You probably know me. . ." She says shyly and looks down once again.
"Know you? Why would I know you?" Aaron asks confused. "We only met once and your sunglasses were covering half your face." He laughs then adds, "But Nicole is a pretty name."
Nicole does her best to hide her shock. He actually does not know her. She finds this surprising but if she's honest she's also a little relieved about it. Her eyes light up as he compliments her name. She laughs though at his obliviousness. "If only you knew" She says as she rolls her eyes, but in a joking way.
"Well I would love to stay and chat but my mom has dinner on the table. I'll see you around though, yeah?" Aaron says in a rushed manor as his phone buzzes with a text from his mom asking where he's at.
"Well. . .I guess." Nicole says a little disappointed. Now she will have to walk back to her hotel room, no more time wasting. But she was more upset that her and Aaron wouldn't be able to talk more. She finds him interesting. "I'll stop by to get coffee or something tomorrow, if you're lucky." She adds with giggl though she can't decide if that came out as flirtatious or plain stupid.
Her laugh is cute. Aaron thinks. It's a shy laugh and definitely held back but it puts a smile on his face nonetheless. "Yeah, come get some coffee. Riley's has the best in town, guaranteed." He smiles before he waves and backs away. Still facing Nicole.
