The best Saturday's are when you are with the right people that keep you laughing during the entire day. It's when you see the sun setting & you are drinking sophisticated wine & having conversation. You can be talking about anything at this point . You don't really care....you are just talking. Then when you run out of things to say the quiet sets in & neither one of you mind because silence sometimes can speak louder than words. Silence is just a vital as a action or words spoken. It still can be beautiful.
"So your brother is in a relationship now yeah....do you approve of his lady?" He asked me
"Yeah, I like her. She's good for Carl. He's got something she needs & she has something he needs. It's early still but we shall see."
"That's good. I'm happy for him. She seems lovely"
"She's nice. You will get a chance to me her" I said simply
"So are you going to be ok? I know your like big little sister"
"Yeah, he's growing up on me. But it's ok. I'm letting him go. That's the only way he will learn how to fly"
"Well said....good for you. So what about you? I can't remember you being in a relationship in the last 2 years....maybe even. 3 if I think about it" he said quizative
"Me. I have no love life. I like being single"
"But would you open to a relationship if the time is right?"
"Yeah definitely. I just want a good situation & something that can have levels. I don't want anybody that's like yeah this will be cool in 6 months & then I drop you like a hot tamale" I said we then started laughing at what I said.
"That's true. So you want someone that's basically husband potential?" He questioned
"Yeah maybe" I said
"Yeah maybe? You have to say what you want"
"Well to better put it. I just want to enjoy the person I'm with for a long time. "

"It's just the reality we live in. It's really sickening because I feel like it's many women out there close to my like mind & they are the ones that always get passed over. Nobody wants to do real things. They are stuck in the Hollywood of it all, many guys choose younger girls that barely knows their abcs, or there are the guys that are stuck in dead end situations but yet can't seem to realize it's a dead end & move forward, there are some that just all show, yet want to sleep around. Some people are eyeing the right one but won't do anything about it because people are to afraid to step on someone else's toes because that person is someone else's ex. Nobody can be mature about that even. And all of that stuff is something I don't have no time for"
