*ONE MONTH LATER*

ZAYN'S P.O.V.

So this was the last week in November and Taylor would be back next week with her..."friend." That girl is down right hard-headed, but I know what she's planning. And I gotta keep Robin away from it, and I also gotta keep myself from getting entangled in it. I can do this.

*RING* *RING*

~LUNCH TIME~

Since I got kicked out of my old table, Robin and I found a whole new table.

"So Taylor's gonna be back next week?"

"Yep. She said she's really excited about bringing her new friend too."

"Are you excited?" She thinks for a minute, "Well, it could be the start of something new."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well s—"

"ROBIN!!!"

Oh no I know that voice from anywhere.

"Taylor, OMG I thought you weren't coming back until the beginning of December!!"

"Well, I wanted to come back early because I missed everybody."

Liar.

"So where's your friend?"

"Oh, well, he's coming next week and I'm so excited for you guys to meet him!!!"

"Please tell me his name!!!"

"Nope. It's a surprise."

"Well OK you sneaky girl!."

She calmed herself down, then spoke to me, "Well hey Zayn. How have you been? I've missed you most of all!"

Filthy liar

"Well, you know just trying to keep my girlfriend away from evil."

She grinned, "Well isn't that nice. I can assure you that my friend is nowhere near evil."

I mock a grin back.

"Robin, are you engaged!"

"Oh, no, it's just a promise ring."

She flashed me a dirty look, I stick my tongue out.

"Well, I'm...happy for you. Just ecstatic!" She gives her a friendly hug, I just rol my eyes in annoyance.

"Say, why don't you two come over for a nice Thanksgiving dinner?"

"Not hap—"

"Oh we loved to!" "Great! See you at 8pm sharp!" Finally, Taylor had left us alone again.

"Well that was nice of he—"

"Why did you do that?"

"Do what?"

"What you just did."

"Oh c'mon maybe a vacation was all she needed, don't act like that!"

"I'm sorry, it's just—"

"It's fine. We- we don't have to go." Robin had a look of despair on her face. Oh man I hate seeing her like that.

"We can g—"

"Yay!! Thanks so much babe!!"

What have I gotten myself into?

*RING* *RING*

ROBIN'S P.O.V.

Zayn had walked me home again and mom said it was OK if I went to dinner at Taylor's house. She said she would be home late because our Aunt, Carissa's birthday was today and she would take Chloe with her. As for me, I picked out a knee-length, black, one-shoulder dress, with some flats. I don't like heels, they make you feel like a giant. Maybe Taylor could tell me more about her friend. He sounds...well, nothing really. But I'm sure we'll all become the best of friends. And who knows, maybe he could keep Zayn out of trouble. Yeah, I would like that.

ZAYN'S P.O.V.

I was pacing back and forth at the thought of Taylor's new "friend" coming next week. It just made me so angry!! Oh I couldn't forget how nice it was of Taylor to invite us for dinner. Lovely.

*Knock* *knock*

"Zayn, are you almost ready?", mom had asked poking her head inside my room.

"Yeah, I just gotta put on my jacket."

"Oh, you look lovely in just your suit and tie."

I gave her a half smile, "Thanks."

"Well I don't wanna keep you waiting any longer." She gave me a hug and I went to go pick up Robin.

*Knock* *Knock*

I was expecting to see her in jeans and t-shirt, but she sure as hell surprised me! Oh man, That dress, that dress fit her just right!

"Are you going to stand there and gawk or are we going to leave?"

"You know we could have our own little private dinner.", I say with a smirk.

"Ha. Ha. Now let's go."

"Yes ma'am!"

Of course Robin had to show me where her house was, cause I had to act like I'd never been over there before.

We didn't even have to knock or ring the doorbell, because as soon as she saw my car, she came running up, hugging Robin. "Oh I'm so glad you guys could make it!! And I adore your dress. Zayn, you sure do clean up nicely."

"Well, turkey may not be the only thing we eat tonight."

She ran up and hug me, "I have a surprise for you.", she whispered in my ear. She then let go and started walking in with Robin. This should be fun...
