~Previous Day~

Elsewhere has been discovered and now millions of people live there. Most of the trees were cut down, the town was rebuilt, there's food, water etc. There was only one small house that was surrounded by woods. Yet there still was a dirt road leading from the house to the town. The house was fixed up and cleaned but they left it they way it was. They let the trees go so now the house is hard to find.

The house was bought by the Wattson family who lived in South Carolina. The Wattsons only had four people in their family, Shawn Wattson, Kara Wattson, Ben Wattson, and Elena Wattson. So they decided to get the small little house which only consists on two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, living room, and dining room.

The Wattson family reached their destination. They all got out of the car.  As Ben, the 8 year old little boy, ran off inside the house, the rest unpacked the stuff. When they got all their stuff out of the car they went inside. Furniture was already set up, walls were perfectly clean and well done. Elena, Ben's 14 year old twin sister, took her stuff into her and Bens room. When she went in Ben was jumping on his bed.

"Ben go get your stuff it's out in the hall." Elena said while she set her stuff on her bed and unzipping her suitcase. Ben jumps off his bed and grabs his stuff.

As Elena puts her stuff in her drawers she hears a draw opening and shutting over at Bens dresser. At first she thought it was Ben but when she looked over he wasn't there and neither were his stuff. She looks out the hallway and finds Ben dragging his stuff through the hallway and into the room. Elena touches her necklaces she has around her neck.

It's just my imagination.

"Elena." Elena heard her mom call out. She walked into the living where her mom stood taking things out of boxes.

"Yes?" She asked with a polite smile across her face. Her mom picked up a picture frame with a picture that was of the whole family inside it. She smiled and out it down.

"Can you please help unpack this stuff while your father and I run down to the store?" Kara asked politely.

"Yeah sure." She replied. Starting to unpack the boxes.

"We are going to take Ben with us is that okay?" Kara asked.

"Yup." Elena replied smiling while still unpacking. Her family leaves and Elena is left at the house. She unpacks everything quickly and puts them in good places. Her mother doesn't really care where Elena puts things just as long as their no where to be broken, and it's nice and neat.

As Elena finished up she hears laughter come down the hallway that led to the kitchen.

"Hello?" Elena said nervously. The laughter continued on. Elena decided to follow the sound. She walked down the hall slowly. No weapon or anything in hand. When she got to the kitchen she heard the laughter again in one corner then another in another corner.

Elena looked around nervously. She heard laughter again coming from near the sink. She slowly walked towards it and the laughter faded away. She touched her necklace again.

It's just my imagination.

She took a deep breath in and slowly breathed out.

Just my imagination.

She walked back to the living room and plopped on the couch. The sky began to roar, lightning filling the skies. It began to get dark. Night was coming quickly. Elena jumped at the sound of the thunder. She was horrified by thunder. She hated it. She grabbed two pillows and covered her ears. One more time she hears it tonight she'll cry.

Elena decided to drop the pillows. She realised that thunder wasn't really that bad. Everything was silent except for the rain and thunder. Suddenly the silence was broken...

Laughter.

Elena stood up. "Who's there?" She asked demandingly. "What do you want?"

No response. Just laughter. Who was in her house? Where are they? What do they want?

Elena hears a car pulling up in front of the house. Her family was back from the door.

Its just my imagination.

Her family walks in with a bunch of grocery bags. They bring them to the kitchen. Elena follows them to help put the stuff away.

"Hey Shawn? Did you order our new furniture?" Kara asked her husband as she puts the stuff away.

"Yeah. They will be here tomorrow." Shawn replied as he sat on the couch with a bag of chips.

"Good. Then we can get rid of all this furniture and boxes of junk from who ever lived here last." She said finishing up with putting the stuff away.

Elena walked to her and Bens room. She found a box near the bed she was going to stay in at night. She turns on the light and walks over to it. There sat two little bears dressed in blue dresses and black shoes. She picked them up and looked at them. They were soft. Almost like they were just bought. She smells them. They smelt like the freshness of a spring day. She set them down and went out to the living room.

Elena's parents were in their room fixing stuff up and Ben sat on the of the living room playing with his trucks. Elena looked around. Suddenly at the corner of her eye she saw the two bears sitting on top of the fire place. She turned towards them. They weren't like they were the first time she saw them. This time they were full of dirt, dust, cobwebs, and something red. She picked on up and smelled the red stuff. She quickly dropped the bear. What she had smelled was dried out blood.
She touched her necklace once again.

Its just my imagination.

Elena closed her eyes and reopened them. The Bears where still there except they were just the way they were when she first saw them.
