Jace put down the phone after talking to her best friend and sighed. Cas always made her feel just a bit happier, more hopeful and optimistic. Well, until they finished talking that is.

"Hey Jace, you don't seem so good. What's up?" Callum walked into the kitchen, half-asleep with his black-blue hair a mess like always. Jace looked up and gave another, even louder, sigh.

"Cal, will you put some clothes on?" Jace asked him, exasperated.

"I have got clothes on! I'm wearing a shirt and underwear, aren't I?" Callum exclaimed, indignant, as he stumbled around the table. He could never move properly in the mornings, especially without his glasses.

"Alright, alright." Jace replied and, ignoring that the shirt wasn't his, went to the cupboard to find some coffee and food for breakfast.

"Are you going to tell me what's wrong? I've got a shit day lined up for me, provide me with some gossip." Callum enquired, joining Jace at the coffee machine to get himself some caffeine.

Jace started to hesitantly stammer out about this person she liked, beginning to blush, as she elbowed Callum out of her way and made her own coffee before being cut off.

"Suck their dick." Callum said, as though that was the most obvious thing to do, much to Jace's horror.

"NO! I didn't mean like that! I like them as a friend. I think I have a squish on them!" Jace hurriedly explained, trying to fight off the flush. Callum just stared at her for a moment before replying.

"Well, why don't you just talk to them about it?"

Jace shook her head. "That isn't an option!" She stated, sitting down opposite Callum and holding her ace pride mug (a mug which was decorated in purple, grey, black, and white colours) tightly. "Do you see my dilemma? What do I do?!"

"Wait, why can't you talk to them about it? And who is it, anyway?" Callum asked as he finished the rest of his coffee and let Jace explain why she couldn't possibly talk to Cas about it because she was too shy too and yes it was Cas. It was at the point when Jace confirmed that her squish was on Cas that Callum yelled "I knew it! Eagle said I was wrong but I knew it!" much to Jace's surprised embarrassment.

"Wait, you knew? What the fuck? Was it really that obvious?"

"Of course I knew." Callum said this as though it was the most obvious thing in the world. "It was the most obvious thing in the world, Cas probably already knows themselves." Callum began to rise from the table "Just talk to them about it or keep it bottled up inside of you while denying the fact that everyone except Eagle knows, who's a fucking idiot anyway, until you end up having a huge breakdown and it destroys you from the inside." Callum gave a sarcastic reply and Jace waited until he left, saying that he needed to get dressed or else he'd be late, before muttering to herself that continuing to keep it bottled up sounded like a good idea and, besides, it was worth a shot anyway.
