I walked back to the moon dorms, a steady stroll and a solemn face. Why had it shocked me so much? To know that Zero was in this academy. Side by side with me everywhere

Zero...

Oh how I wished those times to come back when we were just kids there was no pain no hatred and no betrayals

It was a beautiful evening the lovely sunset with every little bit of orange kissing the horizon. I breathed in some fresh air and exhaled out feeling the aroma that surrounded the precious moment. Everything was perfect peaceful.

I turned my head towards the silvered haired boy who seemed to be watching the sunset with curious intensity through his violet orbs.

"Zero shouldn't we get back it's getting late?" I asked breaking the once peaceful silence but Zero didn't seem to be bothered by it at all. He turned his lavender eyes towards me which seemed so deep like they in stored the whole universe.

"Just a bit longer the sunset seems to be one of the most delightful experiences I want to watch it thoroughly" Zero said turning his gaze once again to the front. I nodded in approval and turned my head in front as well.

It was winter and I saw my steady breathing clearly through the air. A snowflake fell on the tip of my nose and melted on the touch. I nuzzled my nose with my gloved hand "It's snowing..." I looked up to the sky as multiple snowflakes dropped down on the earth.

"Do you like the snow?" Zero asked out of the blue

"I don't like it but I don't hate it either..." I replied in return getting a confused look upon Zero's face. Honestly I didn't myself know what snow felt like...of what feeling I got from it until...

Thudding of footsteps was heard by both of us they were in a hurried motion. We both turned around to see who it was and saw Ichiru running towards us with a horrified expression. He came to a halt as he breathed the oxygen in his dried out lungs.

"What's wrong Ichiru?" Zero walked to him putting a hand on his sling shoulder.

"It's mom and dad...they are..." Ichiru stopped midway

"They are what?" Zero tried to inquire. I watched them worried and looked at Ichiru anxiety written all over his perplexed face. He gave the aura of a scared little child after all he was still a young soul

"Just come, it's horrible!" Ichiru exclaimed

Zero could feel the atrocious feeling that came from his younger twins words, he ran towards the house and Ichiru following his pace.

I ran behind. I saw what all happened how his parents got killed, the truth that divulged through the silver haired woman's words that I was a vampire and Zero how he became horrendous and callous in that one moment. He betrayed me he betrayed our friendship. All was lost.

That is when I realized the feeling that I got from the snow was that I was scared from it

The falling of a first snow flake how it tenderly ached my heart into grief and sorrow. The pain and anguish I experienced when I left that house, with no place to go. Just like today it had started snowing back then and I rummaged through the streets to find accommodation. But yet there was something more awful to know... that I was a vampire. After going through different research work and a little grasp on the vampire side of the world I came to know that I was a Pureblood concealed in human form the day of my birth the reasons were yet unknown to me.

My fingers were numb as I walked around the steady pathway that extended towards the moon dorms. It was bitter cold, my conscious told me to move faster as I did following the orders like a puppet in string
