After School

I sighed as I walked through the halls. Class was so boring, I wanted something exciting to happen. Maybe get a boyfriend? But I was too shy for that. I was carrying all of my books when I heard some yelling. I was pretty deep into the forest, wait.. I was just in the hall a second ago.. I thought warily. I peeked into the open field and gasped. "Exorcists.." I murmured.

"Thats correct." A voice confirmed behind me.

I snapped my head back and bit my lip. "S-Sorry! I didn't mean to intrude!" I stammered.

He smiled. "Its okay, I'm Yuki Okumura." He told me.

"I'm ___ ___- wait, Okumura?? Is Rin your brother?" I asked earnestly.

He looked shocked. "Y-Yeah, how'd you know?" He replied with a question.

I smiled brightly. "I met him yesterday! I wanted to see him again.. But I don't have any classes with him." I mumbled sadly.

Yukio laughed and pointed to the field. "There he is right now." He informed.

I peeked through the bushes and stared at Rin. He was so handsome.. And I was so.. Me. I was shy, nerdy, and didn't have many friends. Scratch that. No friends. "He's so cool.." I murmured as I watched Rin fights demon. "I'm surprised he can keep up with that demon." I commented.

"You can see demons?" Yukio asked with a surprised expression.

I nodded. "Yeah, I got a taintment (I think. I don't remember XD) mark when I was six or seven." I answered.

Yukio nodded. "Do you like Rin?" He asked.

I turned apple red. "O-Of course n-not! What g-gave you that idea??" I asked with a stammer.

He laughed. "Your face is all red and you stammer at the slightest mention of his name, plus you're staring at him." He retorted with a smile.

I pouted and looked away, my ___ hair swishing as I did so. Suddenly, Yukio pushed me forward so I fell on my face.

"___? Hey! Are you okay??" Rin asked as he ran to me.

I got up and wobbled slightly, glaring at Yukio. "Just peachy." I mumbled with a blush.

Yukio was snorting with laughter. "So. What are you doing so far into the forest?" Rin asked.

"He was helping me with my research." Yukio stated as he walked from his hiding place.

Rin blinked. "You.. are an exorcist?" He asked.

I turned red. "N-No! I.. Uhm.. I mean.." I stammered.

Yukio grinned. "Yup! As of tomorrow!" He exclaimed.
