I was awkwardly standing outside this big door. Yukio had signed me up to be an exorcist, well to be more precise that class helper. I sucked in a break and opened the door, 9 sets of eyes stared at me. "H-Hi.." I greeted quietly.

"Hey ___!!" Rin greeted cheerily. I blushed and shyly made my way into the classroom.

"Well hello ___. Nice for you to be here!" Yukio said with a smile.

I smiled and waved slightly. "G-Glad to be h-here.." I murmured. Yukio smiled and pointed to a seat beside Rin. I walked over and sat beside him. "H-Hi.." I whispered to him.

Rin grinned and ruffled my hair. "Haha. You're so shy!" He teased.

I stuck out my tongue and turned to the front. I heard him chuckle before Yukio had started class.

I never thought that I'd be working as an exorcist in training, but I was. We were on a mission to try and exorcise a demon that had been haunting the aquarium. I was partnered up with Rin. Thanks Yukio.. I thought sarcastically.

"Alright, so where do you want to head first?" Rin asked me.

I placed a finger to my mouth and looked at the map. "How about the marine mammals..?" I suggested softly.

Rin grinned at me and thats when I noticed something off, he had a tail. As soon as I blinked it had disappeared and Rin got a nervous expression. "Lets just keep going." He said and started to walk away from me quickly.

I spun around and tried to catch up to him, but he was too fast. "Ah! W-Wait!" I cried. I tripped and fell on my face. "Ouch.." I groaned. I looked up and saw an eerie figure grinning ominously at me. I gulped and started to crawl backwards. "Wh-Who are you?" I asked shakily.

"I'm Koruman. I haunt his place." He uttered, his voice dripping in a warning.

"Wh-What do you want f-from me..??" I asked, trying to reach for a talisman.

The demon slashed my arms. I yelped in pain. "Oh no you don't." He muttered.

I teared up and backed away some more, each time I tried to escape I got more wounds. Slice after slice I was slowly losing consciousness. Did Rin leave me here to die..? I wondered sadly. I started to cry softly and the demon howled in laughter. The laughter was soon cut off as a ball of fiery blue burst into the scene. I gasped. "R-Rin..?" I asked hoarsely. Rin sliced up the demon with his sword and he sheathed it, making the blue flames go away. "You have blue flames... That means.." I trailed off. Rin nodded sadly. "Cool.." I murmured and I left the world for my dark slumber.

I woke up on an infirmary bed. I sat up and looked around, I saw Rin pacing in front of my bed. "Rin?" I asked.

Rin gasped and ran to me. "Are you okay?? Yukio said your wounds were pretty bad.." He said quietly.

I smiled softly. "I'm alright, don't worry." I assured.

Rin smiled and looked at me dead in the eyes. "I.. Uhm.. So, do you hate me... For what I am?" He asked.

I shook my head. "Of course not!" I defended. I quickly grabbed Rin's hand and smiled brightly.

Rin smiled and leaned closer. I blushed as our faces reached closer and closer.. This is it...
