You walked to Eridan's hive. You knocked on the door. No answer. Not even from his lusus. Seahorse Dad probably went out. You heard coughing come from the inside. Eridan was in there.
You decided to open the door and you noticed the lights were out. The switch wasnt working. You decided to keep walking, and used the light of your phone to guide you.
The coughing continued. "Eridan?" you called. More coughing. "D-down here, lovve." you looked down. Beside your feet was Eridan.... Who had been cut in half. Purple was everywhere. You burst into tears. "E-eridan... What happened to you..."
"Shhh." he stroked your hair. You held onto his hand. "You dont need to wworry about me. It wwas payback for wwhat i did to fef." You cried more and more. "Please. Don't leave me. I love you. I know what happened with Feferi. But i still love you."
You sat beside him as he kissed your lips. "Im so sorry. Im so.... so..... sorry..." his voice faded. "Eridan? Eridan!" he was gone. The only one you loved, gone. Thats when you felt the knife.
