Skating Into Love

So I'm Kristina. I am a former Figure Skater skating from 1999-2010. I skated for 11 years. I am no longer skating because I did not want to compete. Kailia is based off me. Please give me honest feedback on this story if you read it. Thank you and enjoy!

Kailia's POV

I'm Kailia. Kailia Jackson. I'm 20 years old and trying so hard to make it onto the US Figure Skating team for the 2014 Winter Olympics. I've been skating since I was 4 and this is a lifelong goal and dream of mine. Other than to meet One Direction. I guess both of my dreams seem impossible but I am determined to accomplish both. I am currently at the rink practicing my routine over and over again to make sure I have it perfect. I've been going over my routine about 10 times and I have yet to perfect it. To qualify for the Winter Olympics, I have to place well in the World Figure Skating Championship which I am now practicing for. I'm skating to Kiss You for my Short Program and They Don't Know About Us if I qualify for the Free Skate. Yes, both One Direction songs! Have I mentioned that I want to meet them?

Right back to practice. I wait for my coach to hit play on the song and get into my starting position. Kiss You starts and I begin my routine. I started off with an easy jump, a double salchow. I landed that perfectly and I could hear my coach clapping lightly. I then go into a Biellman spin. After that, I do some spirals and some other little things before getting into one of my hardest jumps. I'm hoping to land it today. I begin preparation and go into a triple lutz. I finally land it with no problems! I went through the rest of my routine without falling or messing up. I skate over to my coach who has a huge smile on her face.

"With that routine, I really believe that you place in the top 3!" She said proudly.

"I really hope so. I want to make it to the Olympics badly." I said.

"You are done for today Kailia. I'm gonna head out. You okay by yourself?"

"Yeah I'll be fine. Thank you!" I said as she left.

I left after she did and headed home. Another good practice.

Sorry this is so short but its only the first chapter. Chapter 2 should be out tonight or tomorrow
