*I don't know what to have Rin say, but whatevs*
Mary sipped her coca cola awkwardly as the intimidating Rin sat across from her. "So? Tell me what's up with this crush of yours." Rin said casually, taking a sip from her teacup. Mary on the other hand nearly chocked on her cola at the question.
Mary searched through her brain for a lie, not wanting to talk about it. "I don't have a-" Mary started, but Rin interrupted her. "Don't lie to me!" Rin said, her voice raising slightly.
Mary paled and she stopped sipping her cola."Now, let me repeat myself. 'Tell me what's going on with this crush of yours.'" Rin said, while looking at Mary with intimidating eyes. Mary gulped and sat her cola down on the table.
Mary breathed in and out, but she couldn't find her voice. Her palms were sweaty and she couldn't breathe. But she managed to get a couple words out. "I-it's Ian." Mary stuttered out. Right away she regretted opening her mouth. But Rin's answer surprised her.
Rin sighed and sat back in her chair. "I thought so." Rin said, sitting down her teacup. Mary's jaw dropped. "Y-you knew?!" Mary said, honestly surprised. "Of course, I pay attention to my friends. My ships too." Rin said, picking her teacup up and taking a sip from it.
Mary balled up her fists under the table. If Rin could find out, how couldn't Ian? "So?Why didn't you go for it?" Rin asked Mary. Mary paled, this was the question she had hoped Rin wouldn't ask. Mary closed her eyes and took a deep breath."It all started when we were in high school."
*Rin do you like your teacup?*
