FINALLY UPDATED! Yay
This is just a filler chapter but in order to move the story along smoothly I had to skip some stuff so um yeah just read this chapter!
eight months later (July 14th)
Me and Daniel are out shopping this afternoon when a fan approaches us. I put on a fake smile and take a picture with the young girl. She smiles then as soon as she appeared she's gone. I sigh in relief.
"You tired." Daniel asks me.
"Very. It's been such a long day I just need to rest." I lay my head down on his shoulder and begin to close my eyes.
"Don't fall asleep. You have to get to the stadium soon for rehearsals." He reminds me.
Perhaps I should explain....
So much has changed from when I left the hospital. Since then I wrote and released my first ep and I am opening for Selena Gomez. The tour has been keeping me busy. Thankfully tonight is the last show of the tour which means I won't be opening for her anymore. Daniel graduated high school early this spring and is now staying with me for the summer. He goes wherever I go. For the past 4 months he has been by my side.

"Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this amazing experience. I am so thankful for everyone in this room. You all bring out the best in me. It's very bittersweet saying goodbye to the revival tour but let's put on one hell of a show tonight!" Selena finishes by praying and then everyone has two hours until the show starts which means I have an hour until I go on one last time.
I head over to the makeup trailer in the parking lot which is filled with crew members hustling about. I walk in and feel at peace instantly. I see Amanda, my make up artist and she instantly gets to work. I'm not sure how she can pull off such a complex look in less then 30 minutes.
"What are you wanting to do today?" She asks after applying a base of foundation.
"Selena told me to do the same as hers today because I will be performing with her tonight." I tell her.
"Really? Wow Leah that's amazing!" She remarks.
"I know I'm so excited!"
"Well let's get you ready okay?"

I walk on stage feeling nothing but bittersweet. This whole tour has really prepared me for what's to come later in my career. Selena keeps telling me, "Maybe I'll open for you one day." I just laugh at how unrealistic that sounds.
"Hi guys. Who's ready to party?" I pump up the crowd. They roar in response.
I begin playing my most popular single and everyone sings along. Hearing people sing my songs is one of the most surreal feelings in the world.
After singing about five songs I say goodbye and tell them I will see them all later before the show ends. As I exit the stage I see Daniel, Olivia and Niall, and Sydney. They all hug me at the same time causing all of us to fall over.
"You did a great job." Niall congratulates me.
"Thanks. I was trying really hard not to mess up."
"Hey, Harry wanted to know if you were going to show up at the concert tomorrow?" Olivia asks.
"Yeah I think me and Selena were gonna go. You guys will be there right?" I ask.
"Yep it will be so much fun!" She squeals jumping up and down.
"I have to get ready to go back on but I will catch up with you guys later." I begin to walk away but I'm forgot to tell Niall something.
"And Niall. Please don't tell Harry I'm coming. I want it to be a surprise. I was talking about it to the crew and they thought it would be cute if I surprised him by showing up at the concert. Maybe he will see me in the crowd?" I smirk and walk away.
"That will be so cute." I hear one of them yell.
Harry probably thought I had forgotten about him. Clearly I didn't. I haven't seen him in eight months. He is probably hooking with models and shit. He probably forgot about me.
"Leah are you ready?" Selena asks me once she gets off stage.
"Your doing the same song for the encore as last night right?" I ask anxiously.
"Yeah just like we rehearsed. You'll be fine just enjoy your last moments on tour with me darling." She hugs me and we walk on stage with her arm over my shoulder. The crowd goes wild when we appear on the dark stage. They can't even see us yet!
Selena starts singing lyrics to Hands to myself as I harmonize and play the guitar. The acoustic version of this song is so beautiful. I'm going to miss playing it.

We end the encore with a mash up of good for you and love myself. It's the first time me and Selena have done this but it ends up sounding amazing. When we finish singing we both bow and then we just stand there.
This concert was by far the largest venue we have played all tour. The crowd is so energetic and she filled the whole stadium. I smile at Selena and give her a hug.
"You did amazing! I'm so proud of you girl." I whisper.
"Thank you for being by my side this whole time. I owe you."
